I figured posting here instead of making a new thread is best thing to do. Any help is apriciated but might be hard reading a DK log because you cant acctualy see rune usage and such, or maybe im just bad at it =)

Looks pretty good to me. I'd recommend heart of rage regular or heroic over vessel of acceleration though. Gives you a fat chunk of expertise that lets you reforge a little more into haste and the proc gives you much more str than it should. The crit on vessel is essentially useless since frost gets constant guaranteed crits anyways.

Haven't seen an upgrade token drop for hands/legs yet and bale finally dropped his helmet so im using the 391 non-tier pieces until i get at least 1 of the tokens to upgrade.

You need Alysrazors Ring, Rep Ring, and Ryho Bracers and you will be normal mode BiS.

I would get the Dark Succor glyph to get some healing into your play, wich equals less mana used by healers in some situations.

everything looks fine. if you can get hit capped without using lts, stick with hor. essence (which you are using ) is just great for frost to macro with pof

Looks good to me. Personally I use stoneskin over swordshattering. We already have buckets of extra parry, and the raw armour and hp boost can help soak a hit that goes through our shield/parry/dodge alot more. If you're just doing normals w/ shannox/domo hm then you're fine though.

Nice charachter Shiveron! Your gemming and enchanting are all the way I would do it. For your reforging I'm not really sure but I notice you reforge all your dodge into master and all other stats (parry/exp/haste/hit) into dodge. The way I do it is always forge away the less needed stat and never reforge out of dogde. Overall, you're actually overall forging out 348 dodge to gain 439 dodge again. As I said, I didn't calculate any reforging to see on what you would come out and since your overall stats are perfect in my tinking I might just be speaking crap

Have the Helm of Blazing Glory - Baleroc Normal in my bags but not sure if the raise in mastery from 25.61 to say 26ish will be that big. Also for the runeforge, I noticed Shiveron's comment above about already being at a high parry level so maybe I should swap the swordshattering for stoneskin as well (we are just starting the hc's a few weeks ago)?

Hey Rika, thanks for your reply. I switch out quite alot for trinkets, for having some fun in 5man's I usually equip the dps mastery for extra dmg. In firelands I usually go with spinderweb + scales and swap out the spinderweb with indeed TB trinket on Beth' and dodge trinkets for Baleroc.

I also did a few tests with stoneskin now and allthough it is just a gut feeling (no numbers to back-up ) I feel taking more dmg than with swordshattering so i'll swap too the 4%parry again tonight

Yeah rika your gear looks pretty darn good, while I don't really know much about dps (I suck at it so I stick to tanking) I'm sure you pull some pretty mean numbers, also think it's kinda funny using the 2.6 tank axe to dps with, I'm sure a tank was upset about ya getting that unless everyone had theirs.

I don't want to rank anyones profile in here because I am lacking a LOT of knowledge towards Blood DK's.

I know I'm....severely undergeared atm. I just ding'd 85 2 days ago, and got my first 2 raids in today.

My questions are regarding stats on my current gear. I'm having a LOT of trouble finding gear with Hit and Expertise on it, so I know I'm below 8% and 26.
I know I'm also supposed to be stacking dodge above parry, and mastery, and had to reforge a lot mastery off in order to get the hit rating I need.
I am also aware I'm missing a boot enchant.

EDIT: I realized about 3 minutes after posting that there isn't a blood DK for 3 or 4 pages with hit rating over 4%, or expertise close to 26.

You are definetely heading the right way - but gemming for hit, expertise, strength and haste isn't really worth it - since they are all mostly DPS stats but mastery, dodge & parry all benefit you all a lot more than the previous mentioned stats. Also good job on the talent tree - excellent choice for tanking boss fights.

Having Firelord does not make you correct with everything, so here I'll be fair with you asking to be rated.

To start, you have 3 points in Epidemic when only 2 are needed to refresh your diseases with Outbreak> PS> Outbreak, as normal; 3 points is 1 too many. As I've tested many times over, having the Essence with Engineering, as opposed to having the Vessel is sub-optimal. The Essence puts your glove enchant on a ~10 second CD (and vice-versa), which does not maximize the use of either. I'm sure you know that getting another Heroic Cleaver would be best, as well as the Heroic Shannox belt, which would fix your apparent Expertise problem; as shown by your reforging into it in multiple places. I've stated this before, on the previous page, the optimal reforging of both your neck and current belt, would be to get rid of the crit, instead of the hit, you gain more from it, and in the end, makes it of more worth; since you should be over hit cap regardless when in BiS gear. Being closer to Spell hit cap is nice, I have seen that even with ~9% melee hit, I've not been at spell hit cap (yes with the 9% from talents even), so the hit is not completely wasted; as well as helping white hits.

I've been rated before, so I'm not itching to see what people have to say about me, I'm also in tank gear currently after tanking Heroic Rag last night, which I know what I have and do not have, because it's my OS I do not have priority on gear.

Although you pointed out some flaws, you didn't give me a final rating );

It was my understanding that 3/3 Epidemic is what allows you to use the Outbreak > PS > Outbreak rotation. And that's certainly what it feels like when i'm playing as well. On H Rag, i prefer Essence because i can use a PoF / Essence macro for the Seeds, and use my springs for added DPS on rag before the next seeds. And generally, i just prefer Essence because statistically, it is better than normal Vessel. And no, i prefer using Mandible for less Hit & 10 more haste than a cleaver would give. I have not had the chance to get a belt yet, but i certainly would if i was able. Also, i have not looked into Hit > Crit, but i suppose it's reasonable.

Thanks for being honest though, first time i've ever been told what i'm doing wrong in a long time. /applaud
