righteous fury rocks dude, id drop the points in imp healing/spell warding and 1-2 from mental agility (or elsewhere depending what you like) to make sure you get it, other than that looks fine to me.
PWS ---> penance(doesnt consume borrowed time due to it being "instant") ---> 25% haste gheals = rawk

Because imp inner fire gets you about 40 extra spellpower >.> and as for silent resolve. Well, if your tank cant hold agro from the healers, theres bigger problems than you not wasting 3 points in threat reduction, and how often do your hots and buffs get dispelled in pve :3

you play a priest or just some randomer whos never seen the class? silent resolve is more pvp than anything as threat isnt an issue and the dispel resist is pvp-tastic, inner-fire is alot of spell power as an above poster just noted.Originally Posted by Whister

This is my PvE Disc spec for Healing Throughput on a tank, notice I don't drop shields as a part of my general rotation but more as a clutch, my guild uses me as the MT healer for most fights currently in game (We've had 3 Drakes for 8 weeks or so now).
Borrowed time is a decent alternative for Imp Healing and Possibly something else, but I personally prefer to roll Grace on 2-3 Tanks, then renew on GCD's.
First off, you're lying. Badly.Originally Posted by Malivis
Secondly, a Disc healer who isn't using PW: S as part of his core rotation is doing it wrong. A Disc healer using Renew heavily is as laughable as any other form of priest using Renew heavily. Borrowed Time is a no brainer to take; it is not optional, and if your guild were doing three drakes two months ago you'd have been laughed at for showing up with that spec.
Well, i think this is the best disc specc.Originally Posted by Whister

u dont need any points in Divine fury or silent resolve
http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?prie...h=060512000000
stick with this one
lol who cares about treath in pve??? and who cares abuot dispell reduction??? mbye some bosses dispels heals on tank??? at least improved inner fire gives u some more spellpower =P and, about treath, if ur tank let u aggo whit heas that's his fault...Originally Posted by Whister
When silent resolve was a chance to resist instead of just being reduced time on the effect it could be called a pve talent over others, but as it is now its a 100% pvp talent - especially since there are no encounters in pve of mention that uses any of those effects. Meh, forget the last part - was sleeping when writing it I see, was thinking unbreakable will for some reason
I'm currently trying this spec out - mainly to have more shield up for 3 drakes and such:

Could have taken desperate prayer - but if I start taking that kind of damage I'm dead anyway.
Before that I went:

Not going oom in either spec, and borrowed time can be ok fun with the 25% more haste.

You may have alot of stuff in your country, but we got Lolland.

Greater heal is a waste of time for Disc as you can Glyph for Flash Heal mana cost and if your looking to keep grace, inspiration and Divine Aegis up as much as possible you will only use Flash and Penance.
Top that off with renew and POM on constant rotation thats all you need.
EDIT:- Ow and ofcourse this is taking into affect that you using PW:S at every chance not only for the absorbtion but if you have the Glyph too than the heal along with the Weakened Soul debuff for the extra healing power.
You'll also want to stack nothing but Crit and SP.

Still a few items to clean up.
I've been primary Disc healer since early December. Tefty definitely knows what he's talking about. Our glyphs will probably get a shake-up come 3.1. The PoH one will be very tempting, and there may definitely be some Penance glyph love coming our way...Originally Posted by Tefty
Agree it will be interesting to see what the shake up on Glyphs will be in 3.1 and how the PW:S group thing works out, may be worth looking into POH for it but primarily i think thats going to be more appealing to Holy rather than Disc as we thrive on Single Target.Originally Posted by Pewpewarrows

This is the build I'm using:
http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?prie...h=021205060503
It's tilted a bit more towards mana management as I try to get 2 in Improved Healing that would have otherwise gone into Borrowed Time. I'm not sure how necessary it is for me with my gear though, since right now I can spam cast flash heal in a raid setting for 10-15 min and not go below 10k mana without using pots, etc.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bVcbuhxtMxoifRt0xtc
that is my current spec, it's nice but it's mainly used to sarth+3 with pin suppression
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bVcbhhxtMxoifot0ttcM
is what i will be going soon. grace IMO is overrated. 3% dmg reduction on a 10k hit is 300, 600 for a 20k hit and not even 1k for a 30k hit. if your tank dies because of this something is wrong. over one of our sarth 3d fights our MT (sarth) took 1842010 dmg. if i had grace up on him 100% of the time, 55260 dmg would have been prevented. that is pretty minuscule. since most of disc functionality comes from preventing dmg, that 6% extra healing from the priest only is pretty neglibigle as well. 10% less on penance costs makes the spell virtually free, and pretty close to gaining mana if it crits a couple times.

If you're running OOM as a disc priest, I really don't know what to say besides "You're doing it wrong!" Ulduar and 3.1 could change things up, but it's silly to make a spec now when our trees are going to be changing a lot.Originally Posted by llDemonll
Also, way to completely ignore the other effect of Grace, which makes the talent infinitely more useful than Improved Healing. 15% less mana on Penance? That's not going to save you from going OOM. Playing better will.
What a fail, saying Grace is a waste
Man.. don't you know pve is about min maxing? 6% more on your healing done is a lot. If you find it so useless, why don't you spec for Unbreakable Will instead of Twin Disciplines? I mean, that 5% extra for instant heal spells must suck, so why go with it when you can have silencing effects last less? Your logic is flawed. And the spec you linked is fail. I mean, you didn't even take Inner Focus and you specced 3 worthless points into holy. I'll refrain from classic l2p posts but honestly, do give some more thinking about your spec and your role as pve player.
