Re: The T8 set that will never be~

I do enjoy doing all these, and I like what I'm making. I really would like my pally to have something like that...
Now I've put the in-game full-length kilt on the image... loses abit of the bulk there, so not that impressive

if they'd change the helmet alone for this version im happy

I really like the full length robe. It's a shame that Blizzard, the people who are paid to make the game, don't even put in 1/4 the effort to some of their designs as their fans do. Really there aren't even that many tweaks, just a new (and vastly superior) helm, and the legs being made back into a kilt and tada, crap is turned into something beautiful.

the last image is just a copy of a priest set... paladins shouldn't look like priests. Looks good though, just not right for the game.

The only thing copied is the hood. There are still new markings on the mask, the new mask and eye glow, and the plate pieces on the helm. I would hardly call it a copy of the priest set. Sure it may have similarities, but if you look close enough many classes tier sets do.

If anything I would say this looks closer to our tier 2 Judgment set. It's just different color with some major differences to the shoulders and design on the armor pieces. It also has the little glowing affects.

After all those agreements and such a nice design already done, if Blizz keep the first design up and don't change it, I'll really begin that paladin set designer guy (of Blizz) had a veeery very bad experience with a paladin in past and he's trying to revenge. Or just simply, Blizz is blind..

A piece of plate on the forehead.. C'mon Blizz, is this ur best?? <.<

Good job Blue. Nice to see that someone is trying to do smth instead of QQ.

I really like what you did with that helm, sorta a sub zero look. the halo could go, but i'd be happy either way over what we are currently gonna get.

imo the eyes glow a bit much...the half kilt is definately the way to go, i think the boots maybe need to be a bit bulkier to give that real tough look...also give the gloves a little aura glow..that would be sweet

I just thought I would add a little about the Lore behind paladins and try to get some of you to stop the "Ret doesn't have an aura" BS.

    Read a book .

During the Second War Turalyon defeated Orgrim Doomhammer and most certainly had an aura when he did so...an aura so bright that even Uther himself knelt at the sight of him.

Turalyon became the embodiment of the Light's Retribution. Orgrim had struck down a true champion, someone pure of heart and noble of purpose. Turalyon rushed to the side of his fallen commander, full of emotion, both sorrow and rage, grabbed the broken half of Lothar's sword...and was filled with the Light to the point of being unstoppable...that my friends is Retribution.

And to say Prot doesn't have an aura is a bad idea as well...who needs an aura more than the one standing in front of the Dragon defending his allies?

great example as to why we need this set. i like the third set made better than the first, and i think the robe or the half kilt works well, but i like the robe better

Skip the robe, keep the half kilt look. Not only is it entirely possible to have that in-game, it's actually quite easy to do (WoW skins have a texture map AND a transparency map).
