The T8 set that will never be~

There have been a few threads about the Tier 8 gear already... but here's another one.
Personally, I'm a bit dissapointed by the Tier 8 gear, mainly due to the "helm".
There's been some great ideas bouncing around the forum for designs, and here is a consolidation of the ideas I think are great, and with a little contribution of my own... who's to say we can't have kilts & boots together?

Yes I have, & I did try the other hoods as well. This one looks best so far without me having to redraw the whole thing.

also the cowl looks a little too much like cloth and doesnt fit in the whole stone-mechanical theme of ulduar
the kilt is awesome tho

Thank you, and yes it does look similar to some of the earlier posts; as mentioned before it's a consolidation of various interesting ideas around here~

I always hoped my pally could wear his aura behind him (visible throughout) but that's just personal preference~
Yeah it's lazy to to just use the old graphics... but it gets the feel across (I'm lazy)

You can just wear a tabard over that. I really like the half-kilt, and the hood really does add to it. I really like this.

Thank you~ I think half-kilts will open the way to alot more variations in gear design, but I don't see Blizzard implementing it anytime soon, what with their polygon count and texture size restrictions :'(

Ok...i hate the kilt idea..i mean really hate it, but if it looked like that i could bare with it in-game. not bad. Not to down your photo but the graphic on the kilt

I do miss having the kilt/dress from T2, was the only set to look completely different from the rest. Going from bright colors to a dark color set.

The picture you've shown is alright, i can't really pinpoint what i don't like about it. The color for one isn't for me, the helm again isn't much different, as it was copied and not designed for the set.
I did like the glowing simbols which was added to the shoulders/helm from the concept art.

I honestly like the concept art over the T8 model on Mmo home page.

I think they should change the bronze colors to silver..and all small detail colors to black...thats just my theory of what a paladin would look like..Why? If you look at the colors like a good evil type of thing..you have white as the main color..white is good pushing out the black to the outside..making it smaller. I have wierd mind.

I'd agree. Ditch the throat guard and you'd have a pretty epic armory set right there.

Yeah, Paladins don't use power derived straight from the Light. And they're all Ret.
