S6 is SO CLOSE to our best looking set ever... (PICS)

Honestly, sides the helm + a little coloration I think that S6 is a very strong looking set. So, I took the liberty of making a few changes- Gems to red (ARENA IS BLOODY!!!), a custom red tabard, and different helm options.

One is a standard plate helm, made from components of the existing helm. Another is a mail coif that actually looks like a mail coif, supplemented by the existing helm elements, simply spaced wider. The third is the plate helm again, this time with the classic OMG GLOW that always accompanies these armor set modifications.

Either way, this looks like a battle-ready set o gear that actually looks like armor- I for one look forward to it.

I don't really think it looks all that plain- the lines are very clean. What attracts me to this set is it looks FUNCTIONAL, rather than some of the others (While T2 looks awesome, the shoulders would be a bit impractical to wear).

And for heavens sake, our oversized cartoonish weapon already glows, do we really need more OMGSHINEY effects for a world weary arena badass?

They said that they would amp the design of the PVP sets every season until the end of the expansion.

Seriously, I thank GoD that I don't like PVP, PVE sets > PVP sets so far, and this will only back that statement up.
T8 paladin Looks awesome, (besides the helm, which looks okay-ish, not great but doable....besides there is a hide helm option)

T2>T8>T6>T4>All other paladin sets, even most player-photoshopped ones
