Someone did, there was a post on MMO last week or the week before or something about him despawning after an hour, which was prompted by a guild seeing him in 10 man and watching him despawn in front of them.

both guilds were EU none of them were US

Despawning mid fight seems a bit retarded if u ask me. Surely he despawns if you wipe after the hour time limit is up(or simply havent pulled him yet.
