There actually was a bug for the first 2 weeks that ensidia has access to him, don't know why people think there wasn't

From the ensidia website: "Now I think a lot of people do not know what this bug was, we were the only guild affected by it since it was only in 25 man and it was fixed in a patch a few weeks ago. What happened was that if when you were wiping if at any point there was nobody standing outside (i.e. all surviving players in a black hole) there was a chance that the encounter would not reset. The problem with this means that he remained active, continued to spawn stars and therefore black holes with him remaining stationary in the middle on full hp. You may have noticed that the "bridge" to his platform despawns when you engage him so we couldn't actually reach him even with ranged attacks and were constantly being struck by Black Hole explosions"
