On just about any fight that doesnt require a large amount of movement I'll fire up my rotation for about 20 30 seconds then I put on a movie and minimize wow bringing it back up every now and then to check if we killed the thing yet.

What do other people do on boring fights?

Try to actually play my character as good as possible, you get better through practise not through slacking. This means trying to do as much TPS as possible, use my cooldowns as effectively as possible, time my self healing abilities so that they're actually helpful and so on. These boring fights you talk are actually excellent for training because for example you can try completely new stuff without risking a wipe.

meh, 10 man kologarn, were short 1 person only 2 healers and 3 hunters. DPS is killing the arms while i stand there and take hits

Even if i don´t need to keep the threat up in a fight like that, i still use my
abilities and cooldown to reduce the incoming damage, i feel sorry for your
healers who´s doing all the work while you´re being a douchbag. :P

Haha, gold! Maybe Blizz should take out the middle man and make Warcraft 2 playable in game somewhere, a la Maniac Mansion being playable in Day Of The Tentacle. Unless they still make money off of Warcraft 2? The Battle Chest maybe.

Not playing with scrubs, doing hardmodes or achievements for raid encounters, never boring.
Always giving it the best. And if realy nothing is going on, checking recount for slackers like OP.

hmm looks like 7th level of human campaign, in which you have to destroy 5 orc refineries in grim batol. you should have kept ur ships closer to shore so ur balistas could help ^^
