Most of you attribute chains of ice to its best possible scenario when generally all it does is get your opponent to cast dispel where you just lost a disease application in a world where diseases amount to the majority of DK damage and are cleansed easily.

Every range class has a ranged snare or slow, any 50% slow is negatable.
Really there are two CC's that actually do something that will cause issue and ones far up the frost tree.
If it's not a core ability to a DK when unholy is the most favoured spec its really not something you can bank on as CC and a soon to be nerfed 3 second stun is quite pathetic when you compare to other classes core abilities.

Death grip when they arent immune is the only real CC that does anything the ability to remove slows by most classes is very high especially magic snares or single stack disease based slows.

Only in already unbalanced situations are these abilities trouble, the game isnt built around dueling and 2v2. If your 3v3 team doesnt have dispel classes it's a pretty bad setup.

It's as if you guys think a hybrid Dk is workable, death coil without diseases also does very low damage..

Dk's have more crowd control then a warrior, there prolly arent any other classes it's ahead of in this department and if intimidating shouts cooldown was decreased considerably they might be behind them.

When healers are what holds a team up the strongest classes going around something that can be outhealed by dispelling disease quite easily struggles.
