    wow model changing

hi guys. i have heard that there is the possibility to change WoW models from the mpq files.
but i know the modifying/changing the client game files is a good reason for getting a ban.

since overriding game files is permitted as far as i know (like the "Fonts" folder many of us surely have, and like some interfaces do), is there a possibility taht if i override a model this will be tolerated? i would be a visual change only, and only for me it will be visible (like font change).

i also opened a ticket, to have also a GM response.

    any help will be appreciated.

You can't override models like you can fonts, only by changing them inside the files. Changing the files is reason for a ban, and thus changing the models = ban.

Changing models also can give players unfair advantages, such as changing the time lost proto drake to have gruuls model. This is one of the main reasons as to why it's not allowed ingame.
