    Most ridiculous thread ever, but on the other hand I cannot believe that 60 odd people have said yes, while 70 have said no, so perhaps not so stupid after all with such a split in opinion.

    To take a 40 man raid design, morf it into 25 man, and then 10 man took some going so to jump down to 5 man is a step too far for me.

    4 Horseman? What, shall Blizz re-design the encounter to be like 2 Horseman or something?

    Even fresh at lvl 80 my pet was tanking one of the caster 4H in 10 man naxx(I could wing it in 25 man once we geared a little).

    You can already 5 man it, it just takes awhile. It's unlikely but possible to just cut the health of all bosses.

    4H would take a bit of thinking, but apart from that. Just use the one side Gothik way and spam AoE. Razuvious would take a decade, Loatheb might be a pain for the healer but *shrug*

    5 man'd OS10 for lulz, 3 man'd FL (got him to 7% as 2 man :/).

    Anyway, two words for why Naxx should become a 5 man; Repelling Charge.

    Naxx was designed around having 40 players, the fights such as 4 hm and gothik show that, as the raid is meant to be split up.

    Blizz basically managed to keep the fights similar with 25 man (although made them a lot easier in the process)

    10 man is where the fights become really gimiky...4hm where a tank can tank for over a minute without heals, etc.

    5 man naxx would just ruin it.

    I'd love to see blizz give us heroic naxx whereby the bosses are tuned up and regain all the abilites they had in the original 40man naxx (scaled up ofc) so the difficulty would be the same as back then, but i guess its too late for that.

    Actually, it wouldn't be that bad. Today, toc 5 = Naxx 10, toc 5 hc > Naxx 25. Just somewhat downgrade naxx instead :P I see like 3-4 pugs a week for it but people who goes "lfg toc 5 (hc)" like 100 times a day.

    You tards who are saying it CAN already be 5 manned are missing the OP's point. You can 5 man it because you are in T9 gear... for the people who can actually make use of the gear, they need to 10 man it. He's saying to make it 5 mannable for people in less than 200 level gear who are fresh 80s to make it more appealing.

    To the OP I agree, but I think they need to make the wings seperate instances if this were to happen. I know you like 'new scenery' but there's no way in hell a random 5 man pug heroic group will stick together during the duration of that instance.

    If they 5-man it, which I honestly CAN see Blizzard doing, it will be:

    5 Man Heroic Construct Wing
    Patch, Grobb, Gluth, Thad (frozen orb/daily item)

    5 Man Heroic Military Wing
    Raz, Gothik, 4HM (frozen orb/daily item)

    5 Man Heroic Plague Wing
    Noth, Heigen, Loatheb (frozen orb/daily item)

    5 Man Heroic Spider Wing
    Anub, Widow, Maexxna (frozen orb/daily item)

    5 Man Heroic Frostwyrm Lair
    Sapph/KT

    It's not a bad idea, but it would be a lot of work because so many bosses would have to be completely redesigned.

    4HM with 5 people? Loatheb?

    It wouldn't be a simple case of rescaling the encounters to make them work they'd need to utterly change them.

    After a bit of thought I don't like this idea much. The boss fights are simplified enough already to make 10 man easy.
    Personally i would rather see a 5 man Kara redesigned for 80's. Most of the mechanics there could make a good 5 man translation.

    Most of all I would like a heroic Dire maul or perhaps even a ZG. Those I liked more than just about anything
