    Talent Builds! (Ret)

    New patch different tree.

So rets, what did you change your tree to?

Since the nerf to divine sac and LoH I've not had any other reason to spec too far into any of the trees. I picked up 2/3 healing light because I sometimes throw out a Flash of Light when the situation calls. But I'm thinking I might put them over into Unyielding Faith. The good thing about this patch though is now I can pick up Vindication and Divine Purpose without having to sacrifice Imp BoM/Swift Retribution.

So what have you guys done to your tree?

Aura Mastery is still very powerful @ some fights.

I miss raid reduction, but I can occasionally save my group.

Aura Mastery is another viable alternative if you need to bring vindication.
Nom Nom Nom [NNF] (2 points) - When you Ferocious Bite a target at or below 25% health, you have a 50/100% chance to instantly refresh the duration of your Rip on the target.

    hum no..
    you are missing 2 points
divine sac and aura mastery take the same number of points in each respective tree to get it
you would drop imp. BoM for both if you were taking vindication

While the nerf is indeed a nerf...the benefit from the other points in the tree far exceed the benefits from an equal expenditure in holy.

LoH nerf? only if your pvp.

2 In divinity would effect JoL healing + your healing which is far superior to 2 points in healing light. If this is a PvE Build this is what I would run if you had your choice.

Prot pallys should have divinity in a survival build imo so they should judge light.

Ret pallys should have Divine Sacrifice or Aura Mastery. Any spec without one of these is not optimal for a raiding Ret.

Very few good prot pallys will be spec'd into Divinity. It isn't necessary and you can do better by putting your points elsewhere.
