Well they are below dk's on the meters and they are also hybrids.

I am a ret pally so obviously i am going to defend myself lol. I don't think we are too op at all, I only do about 8.3-8.5 on festergut, and i wouldn't consider that op at all. Are we op against multiple mobs? Yea i would say so with our t10 2p, but single target i am fine with where we are.

I have a Paladin level 80. My off spec is DPS and I did yesterday 4K DPS in HoR (Heroic) And my gear is real sh!t, (Normaly I heal) So I was intresting in what people think about the DPS of Paladins.

No, paladin dps os perfect where we are at equal skill and gear mages, hunters, and rogues beat us. We sit right with warriors in dps.

And in pvp, god no we aren't. Out best pvp seal is a leveling seal.

Check the DPS of a middle geared prot pally pushing DPS overall on any instance, the go reroll a prot warrior, get BiS everything, gem however you want, and see if you can even get close. "Pally DPS" is kinda vague ... ret is OK though probably too high for the only true hybrid in the game (only a pally can be a contender for damage and healing on the same fight thanks to JoLame) ... but prot damage is out of control. Nerf warrior shield slam and let that crap ride? I understand the slam nerf was pvp motivated, but not everybody pvps and its annoying as hell to be basically short a whole imaginary extra DPS slot just cause you don't get a paladin tank in heroics.

High for a hybrid, but not "insane". I still get my ass handed to me by rogues/mages/ferals, sometimes dk's/warriors/hunters depending on the fight. Of course this all depends on who you're running with.

All classes except Rogue/Mage/Warlock/Hunter are hybrid classes.

Eleyhran, they nerfed jol back in ulduar. If a ret paladin beats a healer now it's because that healer is terrible. And only true hybrid? Druids say hi. Tank, melée, healer, and range.

Paladin dps is very very OP imo, and should be nerfed asap. As an Arcane Mage it's really hard for me to keep up with our best retridin, who currently pulls 6k+ at Jaraxxus 25M(H), and ofc high at other bosses aswell.

ehh...6k on jaraxxus or any other fight for that matter is nothing, I easily pull 8-8.5k on normal non gimmick fights with mostly one target and minimal moving, Saurfang for example. I dont feel OP at all, I think our dps is very good where it sits now, only classes I have seen beating me is rogues and hunters :P

Wut? mages in my guild are around 8 to 10k and you struggle with 6k. either youre doing something wrong or youre somewhere you don't belong.

its not a debate, but anyone whos a got alil brain knows that actually most of the people are running around with 5k(active raiders at least). so using common sense and putting one and one together you know that under 4k gs is extremely low and implies a gearlevel compared to naxx 10man or less :>.

mages spellstealing jarraxus shield gives them alot of extra damage on this fight.
