Nvida Geoforce Update?

Hey, I just updated my drivers and now everything on-screen in super-bright. Is this supposed to happen (dalaran is so frigging colorful I can't believe it, it's like WoW on crack).

Gamma is a good place to start.

My question is, how old were your old drivers?

It seems to be an issue with the driver since the same happened when I updated it.
The screen seems to be much brighter with a lot of emphasis on the reds, going almost orange and from having googled it I found a mention of it happening to other people.
Just roll back the driver and it will be resolved, and wait a while to see if they release another correct update.

ya there are problems with the 275.33 and 280.26 drivers so if you have any problems then just go back to the 266.58 drivers.

Also I have no problems on 280.26. I know Boub posted some kind of warning for it but it was based on fear for the on average slightly higher temp really, no actual issue there since it was a result of new P-state policies.

I kept getting some weird errors so rolled back the drivers.

i had 2 cutouts while playing wow, monitor lost it's feed entirely, came back 10-20 seconds later, but wow wouldn't show, so i had to alt-f4 wow basically, rolled back my drivers and never had the problem again (and i'd not had the problem before the update, and am on a brand new system [6 week old])
