    ## RECLAMATION YARD - ICC25M - 11/12 Heroic ##

(To long, 'cba to read' version: =))

    Current recruitment status:

RECRUITING ALL CLASSES AND SPECS APART FROM TANKS.
DECENT GEAR IS REQUIRED - NO GEARING UP PROJECTS-
You must be able to compete with our current raiding roster.

    Particularly looking for a:

    -Balance druid
    -Discipline Priest

I can not stress this enough; if your class is not listed, but you feel you are very good at your class
and looking for a new raiding guild where having fun is just as important as progress,
do not hesitate to apply. World of Logs data from your previous guild is a big plus in that case.

    Send your application to: reclamation_yard@hotmail.com

    About us:

Reclamation Yard is a 3 day raiding guild on Silvermoon-EU. The guild was formed in December 2009 by the core of an older hardcore raiding guild. Our mission was to raid 3 days a week with a hardcore focus, but in a friendly, fun and social atmosphere. This allows us to achieve the goals we set out for ourselves in game, while we are also able to have enough free time in real life. So far, this philosophy has worked out for us.
Since the guild was formed by a large core of an older raiding guild, we do not have 1 guild master. RY is being run by an officer council of 4 players. All is done via majority vote. Important decisions are first discussed with all the raiders before they are being made. Therefor we want to stress that a raider hold as much ownership in the guild as an officer. Therefor we expect the same devotion and care an officer shows from a raider or trial.
Reclamation Yard is, for the vast majority, comprised of 18+, many of whom have jobs and a family. You can, therefore, expect a level of maturity from our players, both inside and outside raids - bad humour should be expected but language on vent is strictly civil (for the vast majority...lol) during raiding. We understand that plenty of raiders don't want to hear it, and raids are as expletive-free as possible.

    Current Progress:

At the our current progress is:

    ICC 10M - Cleared
    ICC 10M Hc - 11/12

-Glory of the Icecrown Raider 10m Completed

(10m runs are being held on Fridays and Tuesdays. These runs are completely optional to join. Since they are held on off-days, expect drunk people, a lot of bad jokes, dodgy roleplay and the occasional wipe because someone fell asleep.)

    ICC 25M - Cleared
    ICC 25M Hc - 11/12
RS 25M Normal - Server second

Our raid days are as follows:

    Wed - 19:30 / 23:30
    Thur - 19:30 / 23:30
    Mon - 19:30 / 23:30

*We expect all raiders and trials to have a 100% attendance during these 3 raid days. Since we only raid 3days a week, we can not allow slack and people not showing up. If you are a raider in RY, you are an important asset within the guild and can not be missed. Exceptions always exist, in these cases you inform an officer about your absence.
*Once Prof. Putricide is down, we will shift focus from progress to the ICC 25M Meta achievement. This is because of the World Cup and Summer slack. Since we are a casual raiding guild with a hardcore mindset, we understand a lot of our raiders will enjoy the weather instead of hard mode Lich King. Therefor we will have fun with obtaining the 25m Frostwyrms. -realize this before applying-

    The Server:

Silvermoon is a PvE server. It belongs to one of the best realms in Europe. You can expect a lot of pug ICC runs during the week,
so there is more then enough to do outside the raiding times.
Expect a lot of Gearschore-whoring and achievement requests. Better to get your alt boosted by the guild first usually.

    http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/eu/silvermoon

Silvermoon is also part of the Cyclone battlegroup. One of the strongers battlegroups in the world...
so when pvp is also an aspect of WoW you enjoy a lot, you will feel right at home when attempting to become the next best gladiator.

What can you expect of us:

As a trial you can expect fast raids, weird discussions on vent during trash, some heavy breathing and maybe even some loot. A usual trial period last 2 weeks, sometimes 3 weeks when you did not succeed to convince us during the first 2 weeks.
As a raider you can expect some more loot and ownership in a guild that has been build upon loyalty, humor and honesty. During progress nights, guild repairs are turned on. Raiders have access to free enchanting mats and gems for their newly obtained raid equipment. RY works with a closed-bid-dkp system. DKP is earned by killing bosses, attendance and performance. Loot is distributed via closed bidding via the raid leader. So far this system has worked out very well for us.

We also have quite a bit of members who love to pvp. Some are ranked withing the top 10 and top 50 of their respective arena ladders. We allow friends / old raiders to stay within the guild as part of the social community. This allows us to have plenty of alt runs to TOC/TOGC and ICC during off nights and the weekends. So once you have become a raider, that good old friend you still love to play with, or that girl friend who likes to raid ICC during a Saturday night is more then welcome to join.

What the Yard expects from you:

We expect all our raiders to have a very good understanding of their own class. You should be a walking encyclopedia when it comes down to your class and spec. You know your rotations, gems, enchants and talent specs. You deliver excellent damage done/ dps / or you are an excellent healer.
You are also able to learn very fast. You have an excellent raid awareness, you know how to move from fires, stop casting when needed etc etc. You love to raid and do not mind wiping endlessly as long as the guild progresses.
You come prepared to the raid with enough flasks to last an evening of raiding. Always repaired.
Your connection must be very reliable as well. We do not like it when people fail on Sindragosa and blame their internet connection.

Since we have progressed quite a bit now in ICC, we will not accept gearing up projects. We are looking for experienced raiders who have the achievements and gear to back it up. Having killed the Lich King in 25m is a very big plus. However, if you feel you are an unpolished diamond stuck in a guild or realm where progress is lacking. Do not hesitate to make an application. It will however take more effort to convince us to take you in.

Have a sense of humor. Ventrillo installed on your computer is a must. A working mic is a big plus! Don't be afraid to let us hear your favorite Lady Gaga tune during trash, this will almost make sure you will pass your trial.

Your application should indicate the basics about you, your character and your history in WoW. It should include your motivation to join the guild, to raid and generally why you spend your time playing WoW. Please include any information you think we might be interested in, any discussions about your spec and gear/gemming/enchanting choices, what you see as your role in the raid/guild, anything you think might set you apart from the rest. Online dps/hps logs help a great deal with your application.
Remember that in general there will be others applying for your spot and the more you tell us the better your chances - we can get bored while in the office sometimes, entertaining us while we work is definately going to help! We do not have a set application format, we expect our applicant to be able to make one themselves, with all the information they feel is useful for the officers to accept them into the guild.

    Current recruitment status:

In preparation for the World Cup, Summer slack and the upcoming new expansion Cataclysm we are currently recruiting all classes, except the role of tanking. We are not recruiting any tanks at the moment. All other classes are encouraged to apply to RY if you want to be part of a very close and social community.

    -Balance druid
    -Discipline Priest
