Excellent death metal.

I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is back on the scene! I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is my name, and fuckin' up motherfuckers is my game!
Pantera actually got banned from my hometown back in the mid-90's due to all the weed that was being smoked at their concert.

Yea RIP Vinnie Paul. Both brothers gone now.
Only recently discovered them but, Band Maid from japan they may be an all female band, but got do they rock harder than a lot of western bands do.
Hardcore dancing can seriously do one.
I'm all for having a bit of rough fun but that shit is just abysmal.
What is it about this thread that makes people come in and just say the most off the wall random shit?

Good idea! I'm extremely behind on 2018 releases as I've been trying to catch up on all the 2017 stuff I missed as well as just listening to random albums I haven't heard, but here's what I have so far:
Favorites of 2018 so far
Bog Wraith - Omen (blackened deathcore)
Khemmis - Desolation (stoner trad/doom)
Aorlhac - L'esprit des vents (melodic folk black metal)
Knelt Rote - Alterity (blackened grindcore)
Vargrav - Netherstorm (symphonic black metal)
Replicant - Negative Life (tech death)
Sojourner - The Shadowed Road (atmoblack)
Skeletal Remains - Devouring Mortality (death metal)
Amorphis - Queen of Time (progressive melodic death)
Thy Dying Light - Forgotten by Time (black metal)
Playboi Carti - Die Lit (trap rap)
That's all my 4's and above so far this year. I know I'm missing a ton of good releases like what you've posted.

The new Marduk (it's just the same old dependable good old Marduk) is great, so is the new Khemmis.
So far this year for me, in no real order:
Harakiri for the Sky - Arson
Uada - Cult of a Dying Sun
Panopticon - The Scars of Man on the Once Nameless Wilderness
Visigoth - Conqueror's Oath
Mournful Congregation - The Incubus of Karma
Khemmis - Desolation

Some stuff on there I still need to listen to (Vargrav and Aorlhac). Totally forgot about that Sojourner album as well, really enjoyed that one.

I was extremely disappointed with the new Marduk. Doubt it'll wind up on my EoY list.
Pretty cool that we all have diverse top albums so far this year, gives me a lot to take down and listen to later.

I just gave this a listen, as I really don't like Death Metal, but this album is really great.

Totally forgot about the Drudkh & Wolvhammer albums. Abigor was okay but won't make it to my list. Yob I thought was disappointing. Still need to listen to that Funeral Mist & Craft.
everything screams slam about slugdge so i pretty much dismissed it aswell.. this was quite a nice surprise
Slugdgde was a snorefest for me. Way too clean and clinical. Fairly poorly edited too.
Funeral Mist will probably be in my top3 for the year. It's stupendously good.
Does Baby Metal count? lol
I got into them through anime conventions that I attend and DJ at. I think they're cute and the music is fun.
I saw them in concert finally a couple of months ago. It was cool.
Usually I piss my grindcore death metal friends with that.
The music is fun indeed, I saw them live, the musicians are damm good.
Sure it's a gimmick, like most of the metal band nowadays. They have the accusation of been sell out and shit like that but those hardcore fans seems to forget that most of their favorite musicians or bands are in part of 50 other bands // project.
Not worst than Dragonforce or any other Japan Visual kei band
