Lacuna Coil, one of my favorite bands and god is Cristina Scabbia gorgeous!

Slipknot and Stone Sour, because Corey Taylor is awesome and I love how he sings differently for the two bands so they sound more unique and not just like one is a side project of the other with practically the same sound.

Symphonic Metal has been really starting to grow on me the last year or so and so many bands I enjoy to name them all...

Damn, I forgot about new BdN I'll spin it tonight. Finally passed the milestone of 5k ratings (wrow) and am not showing any signs of slowing down, I love discovering new music so much. I've gone down the deathcore rabbithole as well as pounding out as many 2018 black metal releases as possible so unfortunately im neglecting new death metal, if you guys have any good stuff to throw my way go for it.

I hope you'll like it. I've been through the album about half a dozen times since last night and I have no words for it. Like most of their music, this one will just take a while to sink in completely.

As I grow older, my taste in metal are changing. Call me an emo/pop lover, but I really like dual voices (soft and growl, called Hardcore I guess), along with energetic guitar strings.

The very first time I think Ive heard it was Flyleaf - I'm so sick.

Bands like Memphis May Fire, August Burns Red, Any Given Day, Wovenwar, Architect, Atreyu, Alexis on Fire, Kill Switch Engage (old and new), Bring me the Horizon (older stuff) and more, are what I randomly listen to these days.

Any suggestions?

For those who like cheesy power metal, the new Brainstorm is pretty decent.

It has been dominating my rotation completely since it came out and it I can safely say that it's going to be my album of the year.

Cantique Lepreux are going to release their second album in November.

Finally had a good listen to it. I like it but won't be my album of the year. Excited for the new Cantique Lepreux by the way!
