Grats paragon!
There could be a mountain of reasons for the conversion rate. For example, the price is also €25, which in turn could be because they are more expensive to sell in Europe; if they're manifactured or even just distributed from the United States, they have to be sent over most likely to France, which costs in currency conversion fees, taxes and customs. In short, a $9 increase in price ($25 > €25) is liable.Originally Posted by andy_mitchelluk
Then, it must also be sent to the UK. More taxes, more customs. Since United Kingdom isn't a member of the EMU, there must also be further currency conversion fees.
And yes, they might throw in one or two US Dollars extra on their own profit. However, most of the money they get from the increased cost is most likely, based on my best educated guesses and no research used on the fees.
Remember, Plushies as opposed to Steam Store products (LOL $1=€1=£1) are actual physical entities. It's a lot more you need to take into account than with virtual products.
You tank Saurfang, Festergut and Lich King from far away? That's quite a feat.Originally Posted by dumkin

I will sacrifice more health with more spirit, but I always get 1490 + Spell Power * 0.5 mana?
Guess it should be "Now converts [ 150% of Spirit + 1490 ] health into [150% of Spirit + 1490 + Spell Power * 0.5 ] mana."
This was what I thought about Locktanking before Scumbag Greg took it away

our aoe taunt has a shitty range as well, and i believe Mocking Blow is on old taunt mechanics?Originally Posted by dumkin

But neither one of the abilites ever seems to work for me very well.
The thing, just looking at the nature and skill level of casuals, I doubt they will be able to beat the hardmodes even WITH the 30% buff. I am a casual...I just don't have the free nights to do regular raid times, but this buff makes me kinda excited because I might actually stand a chance at seeing the Lich King and fighting him, versus just seeing replays of everyone else. Kind of like going back and doing The Sunwell Plateau. Even though at lvl 80 its insanely easy, it was still really cool to see from a lore and just excitement viewpoint.Originally Posted by BlazerWithTheLazer
But when it comes to hardmodes, yeah, I think that having, in the end, a 30% buff, makes it not so hard. If Blizz wants to give away free cool mounts, why not just mail them to everyone?
[Sarcasm]Brilliant[/sarcasm], so multi dotting on trash is now out of the question, and multi dotting adds in boss fights wont happen either.
Why not just put an ICD on devious minds so that people cant abuse multi dotting to keep it up 100% and still allow us to keep UA on multiple targets.
A) its going to be a massive dps loss in burn add fights like PP and LK, as the new target getting UAed/Immoed will remove it from the boss
and B) its going to mean you can apply bugger all pressure in PVP as all but on of your targets can be spam dispelled, and your applying 1/3 less damage on top of that to your secondary and tertiary targets.

Grats to Paragon on world First 10 kill. Both Ensidia and Paragon used the 5% buff and im sure all the top guilds will.
Not to diminish what Paragon done, but the main reason they got world first was because they extended their lockout on their 10 man run and Ensidia didn't, as muqq says on the ensidia site with a "" face. When it comes to world first's, even 10, taking the risk of locking your raidID is risky and it paid off for Paragon.
This also adds more complexity to the race. Does Paragon now have a time bonus on 25 man because Ensidia had to clear 10 first, or does Ensidia have the edge because they got more 10 hc loot. Small difference, but in the end it could make the difference between fist and second.
Either way, this has been one of the best races against 2 of the best guilds. All petty fighting aside, they both deserve it, but who wants it more...
This is just stupid. So all kills back in vanila should be discounted when all the top guilds went around and got all the world buffs before going to kill a boss for the first time... because they were optional. Totems, Pally Buffs, food are all optional.Originally Posted by Armlock
World first is world first. You can't simply decide that history didn't happen because it didn't happen the way you would prefer.Originally Posted by Ikkatsu
It's just a tooltip update, to let people know that you can't have your UA and Immolate on the same target at the same time.Originally Posted by Elizaelrama

Sweet! Keep going, that'll make it easier to finish! We'll report it after we get the World First."
Paragon:
"There's a bug in this encounter! It's way harder than it's supposed to be!
Damn, that sucks. Report it now and we'll see if we can work around it."
See a difference there? Ensida chose to make use of a bug that they admit they saw (although they may or may not have actually known why, or made a deliberate attempt to exploit it), but not report it until after it had helped them. Paragon tried to live with and work around a bug that hurt them, after reporting it immediately. Your comparison doesn't even make sense.

They used everything they could get. It's a legit way to min/max, it's a legit kill.
Are you shitting me? why would you want to turn down help?IMO: World First should ONLY be WITHOUT the buff, considering it is OPTIONAL.
EDIT: In other words
Double EDIT:before anyone mentions it, don't throw Yogg Saron as your reason why. The mechanics are that way. Buffed by all four is the easy mode, and how much help you lose is proportional to how hard you want the encounter to be.Originally Posted by Fraza
