It depends on server.

On mine, for example, ally almost always have it. Despite we horde being outnumbered about 4 to 1, we still manage to get it a few times per day.

Personally I think WG should switch factions regardless of who "wins" so servers with one faction that heavily outnumbers the other, both sides can actually get into VoA.

It's a numbers thing. Even with the cap on potential participants, the faction with the higher number will a.) have more people in general queing, b.) have more 80's queing and c.)if a faction consistently loses, it lowers morale, which gives people less reason to want to que anyway, diminishing the numbers even further

Yes, I play Horde and we have hundreds more wins than Allys.
This isn't unfair, we really are just better. Or well it used to be that, now it's just that not many allies choose to queue for WG until they're buffed up from the last patch change, since they seem lose almost 10/10 times otherwise.
I honestly say that I expect to win WG each time I go there and my expectations are usually met.

On my server Horde had it last week like whole week, we won it 1st time at 2 am Sunday night (yes technically Monday earlllly morning).

The funny thing is that Blizz just introduced this balancing thing that should help, that if a faction holds WG for too long, the losing faction starts with all vehicles or whatever.

But as someone said, we are outnumbered tenacity 5+ all the time, morale down, less and less people queue.

Blizz is/did try and help, but for now it ain't working still. On some realms it would really take a I win button unfortunately.

reduce the numbers that can go, a lot of people with a) shitty computers or b) not in america tend to lag out a bit in the fortress, so why do i want to go and spend my time smashing my keyboard trying to log in... i since bought a new computer

Reducing the numbers will also keep things slightly more even as well on servers like Blackrock where Ali are outnumber 4-1. Friends on proudmore said ali always hold it there, so that would give horde a chance to hold it

make it smaller,, just add a few more rows of mountains in :P

The faction who is attacking always wins.

That's not entirely true, one side can have the most amazing and hard-working team ever but still get steamrolled from a sheer number disadvantage.

On my server it's fairly even. But on servers with a sever imbalance, something needs to be done. It's not fair that you are being shut out of content because the numbers are not in your favor.

So if my server is a 1:0.02 ration of horde to alliance or alliance to horde i don't deserve to capture WG because they outnumber me 50 to 1? and yes there are servers with that huge of a difference in populations.

On my server, Alliance (my faction) only wins on Tuesday's when VoA resets and the raiders want to get in after their resets. But then after that, for the rest of the week, it is controlled by horde. This may be because they outpopulate us by a TON, but i think its just that Alliance have given up. Then when Sunday and Monday roll around Ally wins it off and on throughout the day. sooooo.....idk :

the more you lose it, the stronger your buff gets. I think its after something like a change over and 5 defends, you end up being able to spawn machines after 1 kill and get a large health/damage increase... I've seen a relatively small group decimate a full side on my server due to these buffs. It helps balance the win/loss ratios..... If you cannot cap at least 1/10 voa's, you have some serious stupid trying to cap voa on your server.

Now, how did you think exactly? People not in America? Isn't all players playing on US servers in South or North America? Or do you mean that EU/Chinese/Australian players lagg because they are not in America? Huh?

On my server WG is mostly dominated by Horde. However, the instant vehicles + tenancy usually allows the Alliance to win WG at least a few times per week.

Or the defenders annihilate the slow moving siege vehicles before they can get out of the shops or they take all the shops over due to their overwhelmingly superior numbers on servers with server imbalance and don't even dare suggest that tenacity does anything useful because it doesn't.
