Wintergrasp Door

Having just had a humiliating attempt at a wintergrasp capture, I decided as usual to avoid the flight or the hearth cooldown I would fly into the fortress, and use the portal there as I often do.
Though when attempting to do so, I found myself up against what appeared to be an invisible barrier.
Was wondering if that was just a glitch, or an attempt to fix the popular sniping acivity from landing on top of the ring inside the room.

Was the door completely broken?
If not, then u cant get through it.

OP already stated he wanted to avoid putting hearthstone on cooldown. Right click + leave method uses your hearthstone's cooldown or resets it back to 30 minutes if its already on cooldown.

Putting the door aside, I just "love" it when objects in the world load slowly.

So there you are, trying to take a shortcut to dala by taking the horde infested wintergrasp portal to dala. Ok, the door is broken and you fly to portal...wait, where is the portal ? Come on, I only have 2 seconds before the hunchbacks with red text above notice me standing ther*stuned**Cowman crits you for OVER 9000* Where is the damn portal ?!? Ahaaaa, *jumps through*.

This happened to me yesterday, on a friends very nice PC. We captured WG on the 1 second mark. Everyone around me was running inside fine, but I couldnt get past, it was if the door was still there for me, but invisible.
My group had to summon me inside. It was actually sort of cool cause theres a line in the middle of the door that you can run back and forwards on. Air walking!
