Buddy Rich is clearly the most talented drummer of all time, just he was about 30 years to early.
I'd say my favorite is Neil Peart like almost everyone elses.

You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

Bonham is overrated. Neil Peart's playing is usually quite busy, but it still grooves like a mother.
Hasn't it been established many times that Neil Peart is the best drummer ever?
Like all others you can't knock the greats: peart, portnoy, rich, smith, however Tim Yeung who is currently with Divine Heresy "i think" will definitely become one of the greatest metal drummers of all time, that man does everything with such ease and makes alot of the 'famous' metal drummers look like a joke

I checked out a bit of his stuff on youtube, but I can't say I was too impressed. He just seems to be like every other drummer from that genre, only a little bit more creative. However it did lead me to finding this awesome video of Derek Roddy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxQHM0M6TGgOriginally Posted by Dindrielle
Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy & Thomas Lang, are my top 3 fav.
After these, comes other Idols aswell, as: Alex Gonzales, Dennis Chambers, Tony royster Jr, Dave weckl, and steve gadd. And many more.
I am greatly influenced by Thomas lang and Portnoy.
Should probably add Johnny Rabb in here too, i'm not an electronic music kinda person but some of the stuff this guy does is absolutely awesome

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j21T8eXrTUg - electronic set (demo so kinda boring if you're not a drummer, but when he's showing the kit off he's showing some mad skills)
helps that he was the worlds fastest drummer for a while, held the record for most single strokes in a minute at over 1000! (yeah you read it right)
