Pleh, one of the links that blue leads to hasn't been updated and says they don't help with ninja cases, as seen here - which then shows they do.
Beans of the utmost coolness.
This was always the case yo, master looter ninjaing in a raid = scam. Was always bannable if enough people complained.
Group loot ninjas they dont care about.
It is all worded in ways that will change nothing.
Pondering returning.
Nikoll - Retribution Paladin
I grouped with a "ninja-looter," can I get the item that I am entitled to returned?
Players that loot an item out of turn or against the group's wishes do not meet the criteria for scamming, and will not be investigated by the GM Staff. For more information, please see our related policy here
This just states what we alway knew, if there is a MASTER LOOTER. Then he is just that, he is able to do as he pleases with loot. UNLESS, stated otherwise before the raid.
EG, "The loot will be rolled for by all members, and nothing is reserved" If the master looter says this before the raid, or better yet, YOU make the raid leader state this, he has to do as he says. (refer to the loot agreement part in the blue section)
If the master looter says nothing about how loot will be distributed, blizzard will not act on what many people are calling "ninja looting"... which boils down to a player not agreeing with somone reciveing an item.
PS. If the raid leader loots "Zods repeating bow" to a hunter without saying anything.. would you call that ninja looting? If yes, how do you know the master looter hadnt already agreed with that hunter prior to the instance forming?
Bottom line, ALWAYS get the master looter to say "All loot will be rolled for, and nothing is pre arranged, or reserved" 8)
However, if you state the loot rules in a 5 man and no one disagrees, it does infact fall into the scam section of the other link, and is reportable/bannable/you get your goodies.Originally Posted by Caranthir

It's true, the new policy allows GMs to remove all ninjaed items and temp. ban them but only if you get the ML to state loot rules. If they then break then and steal loot for themselves or friends, make a ticket and GM will take action.
Actually, no. Stating loot rules is a verbal contact, such as "MS prio, highest roll wins". Force them to state it before the raid and it counts. If they refuse, they obviously plan something shady so turn off the ICC buff and leave group.Originally Posted by Lavache
in ragnaros us there are alot of ppl that ninja
but only a few that get ban for it
just have the whole raid qq about it and they will do something
Indeed. It was like reading something a politician written down.Originally Posted by Nikoll
