I mean I aint got that close to Battlemaster yet but im pretty sure thats gonna be the last one I'll have to get. I've heard of people taking years to get this and I thought Battlemaster would be about skill or BG awareness rather than I duno... Luck!?

Aye, that is the only one i needed for Battlemaster and after 400ish ABs i just gave up =P Tried premading it a few times but they failed. It is doable as a premade though.

I have it on my 80 alt. On my main I have gotten 1600-1580, and I have even lost it to Ally by 10 points once. I agree that it is purely luck for most people.

Did it in a 'premade' of mostly random people, led by the best geared Warrior on our server with Shadowmourne, failed once then nailed it, its all about timing it in the start of the battle and keeping one base uncapped through the entire thing

You shouldn't worry about it until you have completed the rest of AB-achievements. You can get it by accident, or notice "If I don't defend this base even if I could, it is either 1600-1590 or 1600-1580 win. I'll decide to not defend the base". If you don't get it by the time you have finished other AB-achievements, you can form a premade to force it. There are several ways (copied from Wowhead comment by Beejay: http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=1...ents:id=564798):

• The ballsy five cap
  Let your opponents 4 cap as you hold 1 base. When your opponents reach about 1600 resources, send out your 3 groups and 4 cap your opponents, forcing them to 1 base. As the game nears an ending, assault the final base and attempt to take the flag as soon as your opponent gets 1990 resources. We did this in a premade and were able to assault the 5th and final base as soon as the Horde got to 1990, but they were able to ninja assault and take one of our bases so they got the last 10 points they needed. This is a long shot, but it probably feels amazing to pull off.
• The uncapped three cap
  As others have said, the idea is to assault 2 bases before your opponent so you get a 10 point advantage. Then hold the 2 bases along with a 3rd base that you make sure nobody caps all the way to 2000.
• The DBM cap
  This strategy comes from the fact that DBM is incredibly accurate in determining the final score of ABs. Let your opponents 4 cap until they have a small lead. When they have about a 600 point lead, turn the tables and 3 cap them. DBM should tell you what the final score will be, and then you can adjust by letting them cap a node or by 4 capping them if needed. Make adjustments until DBM lists the final score as 2000 to 1990 and then hold the 3 cap until the end of the game.

All of those methods require a strong premade, capable of fighting at least 5vs10. However, the requirement is not that hard, seeing how much stronger wrathful-geared player (let alone skilled, playing with the team) is compared to an average one.

I realy dont see how it can be done in a premade... because you have absaloutly no idea what the other side are up to. Unless your "cheating" and in bed with the allies... Spose its just down to luck. I have had a close one before with the predictive core showing the end results and all i was doing was screaming in Bg chat "DONT CAP ANOTHER FUCKING BASE OR I WILL RAPE YEES ALL"... some twat goes n does it.

unless you have a hardcore group aiming to get this achieve, it's just going to happen by luck. i was fortunate enough to get this and the overcome the point deficiency at the same time, as well as having seen the opposing faction get both in other outings.

I've also seen close games prior to the release of the achievement system as well that would have triggered it. I would imagine it happens a lot, you just have to be there when it happens, of course.

Well you can post on forums get a horde team all get on vent and just make it happen for both sides we did this early on and everyone got the achievement. Might be frowned upon by blizzard but like you said its just luck no skill involved to make this happen just alot of RNG and time wasted.

It is doable by a premade without cheating. And anticipating what a BG PuG is gonna do is quite easy. My guild did on their first try. I wasn't there, got it accidentally some month later. Ah, they also did the achievemnt that requires you to overcome 500 points gap on the same battle :\

Done it once during tbc(too bad I got no achiv) and lost by 10 once aswell.
Some guys on my server premaded it both sides and got the achiv

The more you want it, the less likely it will happen. Just play AB. Eventually, you'll be able to force it.
