This wouldn't explain the intellect rather than strength, or the fact that you can't completely get rid of a stat through reforging.

It is for reforging! Look at some plate items (not from BS)
they have spirit on them and you can reforge spirit. i guess blizz just implements gear with stats your class would never use or need so that you are forced to reforge them.
    maybe they like reforging alot?..

PvP is 5% base hit needed, and Holy already has 4%.

hmm can be usefull for pvp outgearing content and solo grinding as holy and with the changes to the healing game maybe healers will help out on damage more than we think

It's just an excuse to use the stat swap system

ALOT of the items in the previwes have false stats or placeholders. As we all know all spellpower on stuff is gona and merged into Intellect, yet you see stuff with spellpower on it. And as you all know attack power is being merged with agi and str, yet you see stuff with attack power on it.

The hit might be for PvP (no idea if dispells are gonna rrequire hit, but if they will), but it lacks resillience.

I don't think they've ever said wether ap was bein removed from jewlery, thought it would likely have al a d not str or agi, and while hey may have backed off on it originaly they were going to keep sp as a weapon stat so they did t have to put 400+int on a single item.

So.. Yes.... they need 1% more to get reliable hits on HoJ in PVP. In PVE judgments can miss a lot more due to the higher hit needed vs elites/bosses.
