The only spell that makes holy priests different, gets fucked over? Better be some kind of bug like.

Maybe they will make the chakra bullshit give that spell the current utility. *shrugh*

It's like this on live as well.

The "spell" you are looking at is the proc effect from GS, when the target dies.

The spell you cast is this one:

    http://www.wowhead.com/spell=47788

    Bottom line: It hasn't changed.
I'm more worried about holypriests being forced to specc deep disc to remain useful - and forsaking GS in the process. But I assume they will make another pass at healing throughput. Right now, holypriests seem to be balanced against radiance, which really don't seem to heal for anything worth mentioning if I'm to read the reports correctly.

Why the hell would you spec "deep disc" as holy? If holy is so terrible just go disc and do a proper job?
I am personally a holy fan, and regardless of all the QQ going around this spec, I have reached the conclusion that people QQ about it just because they can't play it properly.

I wish I could play on the beta.

I'm just reiterating what was said in the sticky. Relax.

Actualy I was simply quoting the mmo-champion "Updated Cataclysm spells" section.

No need to be an ass, go be terrible somewhere else.

    Thanks, nonetheless

Holy priests are a bit "Less viable" than other classes. They have an overall bad regen, and their healing is overall less then other classes, on most fights.

The only reason why they can still cope is because of Guardian Spirit and the burst healing they can put out, which no other class can compete with.

But other than that, doesnt matter how good you play a holy priest, their hps is generally lower then other healing classes.

My HPS is never 'generally lower' then any other class. Not entirely sure where your getting that information from.

    My HPS is just fine.

Actually, doesn't matter how good you play anything that isn't a Resto Druid, their HPS from tab-targetting Rejuv overpowers anything (except Tab-target shields on Heroic Twins, amirite?)

Since 2.0 launched, Holy Priests have always been viewed as "less viable". "Less Regen, Less Healing. Less awesome stuff". The awesome stuff is true, but as for Regen?

In TBC, even Paladins weren't top-rank spammers. Druids rolled Lifebloom, Priests used 1, 2, 4, or 7, and Paladins used a few ranks of Holy Light, mixed in with a Flash here and there.

In Wrath, Holy Priests started with unlimited mana, but so did everyone else. QQ about being the only healer that needed to carry around a mana potion, after 3.1's spirit nerf, the new Holy Concentration still made it work. Sure, if you died and had to be res'd (Rebirth or Soulstone, idc), you needed mana.

Guess what. So did everyone else.

People bitch because the class (now, just the spec) isn't the equivalent of "healing god" that it was in Vanilla. Holy's fine. Get over it.
