So yeah i'm bored. And the Cata beta is crashing too much to be able to play without breaking stuff. so! I thought i might be a cheapo and kill som nubs in the 70-79 bracket. but what, oh what to choose?

Starfire boomkin will probably oneshot everything. This is the only thing I can imagine being somewhat fun.
Playing feral or warrior will probably be basically the same as at 80 with a bit more kills.

twink prot warriors are OP as hell atm in sub-80 BGs

And they're really fun too. Great dmg, defensive cooldowns and ability to lock down casters.

Boomkins and Ele shams will put out more overall damage than any other class at that level. But, a prot warrior is much better 1 on 1. The boomkin can absolutely abuse 1v4 situations by popping starfall. But, an equally geared prot warrior, shadow priest, rogue, etc. will wreck you.
