    Meditation and Spirit

Hello there! Sorry if this question has been up in the designated cata-topics, though I haven't been able to find it through the Search-function.

I've checked a bit of PTR and noticed that Meditation has been changed a bit, as you know from:
"Allows 50% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting."
    To
"Allows 50% of your mana regeneration from Spirit to continue while casting."

Meanwhile, Spirit mentions that it acts this way:
"Increases Mana generation by x Per 5 Seconds while not casting"

In WoTLK I'm not used to work by the mp5-rule - do you think that we'll need to do that in the next major patch / cataclysm?

Or, is the regeneration from Meditation based on Spirit not requiring us to not cast a spell for 5 seconds?

Logically, we will only regen from Meditation if we don't cast anything for 5 seconds, but once upon a time I "heard" that we're not supposed to work by the mp5-rule.

    Thanks a lot.

Long story short: the 5 second rule is dead, its just in combat and not in combat.

So, in Cata, meditation simply allows for the spirit portion of your restoration still be 50% effective while in combat/casting.
