Thinking of rerolling

Im thinking about rerolling a troll shadow priest for cata and was just wondering if they are fun to play and
competitive with the other casters on the cata beta. I really want to play a caster with unique mechanics, is shadow priest a good choice in its current state?

No. Shadow is not competitive in its current state. It is OP/UP/Broken/Amazing/Whatever.

Seriously, what is the point of a thread like this? There has been zero work to balance the numbers, and what works/doesn't changes every three days, from build to build. If you're trying to figure out what to roll based off of current, that will change ridiculously at least 100 times before 4.0 goes live, let alone cataclysm.
