    Question about the Draenei Paladin mount

    Apologies if this has been asked already, but when 4.0.1 hits will Draenei Paladins be getting their shiny new mount?

    the new Elekks look way better than normal ones, plus the Charger looked absolutely horrible with Draenie

    Yeah I'm really glad I'll have a Paladin mount that my character actually fits on, that's for sure. Plus the model/textures on it are really nice.

    looks great, but elekks run animation looks weird stil
    WoW characters that need/deserve to get killed/punished/otherwise removed from the story: Tirion(dead now), Thrall, Malfurion, Sylvanas(soon?), Jaina, Tyrande

    well what do you expect? they are large elephant like creatures that share the same body structure which wouldnt normally allow them to run as fast as they do in-game :P though I dont mind elekks, a good break from the regular alliance mount...horse, ram, large cat, robot chiken, Giant elephant thing!

    I've been wanting to roll a paladin for a while, and with the changes to the class, plus this mount....*sigh* I cannot WAIT to roll my draen pally. *giddy*

    It just doesn't seem...right.

    I've done a little testing with it on the Beta, and it seems like it's almost bugged. The player doesn't seem to move with the mount and my legs just disappear into the mount. It's almost creepy...

    Why would it? Same reason that Tauren pallys cant use Blood elf chargers. They are race specific

    there is a feedback tool for that, use it, they will read it (someday in 2 expansion)

    We're not talking about a race who wont be able to be a pally till Cata and deserves their own mount, we are talking about a race who's been able to be a pally for years and is now getting a racial specific charger, what makes them different from say Dwarves, who dont yet have one. are they going to turn around and make a racial specific ram for pallies next?
