pretty much the same stuff as in japan. I would guess slice of life stuff isn't quite as popular in the us though

So I don't really watch Anime since my internet isn't the fastest and videos take a while to load. However, I do read manga and I was wondering if anyone can recommend me some good manga! I've read mostly Shonen (Naruto,Fairy Tale, Bleach, Death Note, Cage of Eden, 666 Satan, Forsaken Tempest etc.) i have also started to read Liar Game. So can anyone recommend a good manga? Preferably Seinen or shonen.

I've got back-ups of it also on another external but those are pretty old and almost none of my anime files of the broken one are on those :P

Tell me about it man. Guess dog days didn't have enough tits ass and gore for most americans. I mean I'm sorry but it WAS uncensored when airing and it IS a good show and something fairly new as well. But i guess all those bitching "otaku" don't actually want something new now do they. Well not unless it's got blood guts and enough t&a to make it borderline porn oh and it HAS to harken back to the 90s of course.

I mean i like 90s anime and miss it as much as the next guy but learn to wait for the great series and watch the fun ones as fun ones. I mean really guys grow up and learn that sometimes just simple fun is better than dark and brooding. Then again my home country does seem to be permanently stuck ion the 14 yer old mindset of "blood guts and tits are mature".

Sorry about the rant just kinda bugging me how obsessed my countrymen are with the classic macho man thing.

My internet is average and the video loads crazy fast for this site in comparison to other sites such as youtube (mostly have to do with the source of video's). I mean it takes like 1min, if that, to load 20 min video, so you may have some luck if you like One Piece.

The show is decently long like bleach or Naruto. You can look into the manga if the video is no good because i'm sure it's shonen.

I'm sorta far into the show (like episode 350 or so) and, as much as I'd like to, I wouldn't be as bold as to call it "good". If someone dislikes the One Piece, I feel it's more than understandable. However the show has many redeeming qualities, and enough to easily be one of my favorite anime. In concept, my gripe with One Piece is almost like i'm reading beautiful essay riddled with spelling errors. Just simple things that shouldn't be happening, but do if you notice.

so came here for some advice, i liked bleach alot. watched it all minus some of the more boring fillers, up to the episode aizen died. is it worth it at all to pick it up from that spot? and is there something like a collection of the filler episodes so i can skip those?

also busy with deathnote like it alot, but the fighting/fantasy theme is more my taste. i am watching naruto (at the current episode) and the best series so far for me had been full metal alchemist. do you guys have any ideas what else i could try?

Fairy Tail think once piece with mages instead of pirates(simplistic description but trust it will make sense when ya look into it). And ya may mean Shounen since most of what you mention seem to be shounen series.
