I watched every episode of Madoka back to back after delaying watching it for ages.

It was alright, but I think having most of it spoiled beforehand kind of ruined the effect.

Oh man Boogiepop is crazy, I love it.

First time watching it? That series is one I randomly purchased the box set for years ago without knowing anything about it. The price was right and the blurb on the back sounded interesting. I had no damn idea what was happening the first time I watched it. Years later, I read up on the novels and watched the series again and it made more sense. Still pretty far out there though. It's like the David Lynch of the anime world.

It is extremely adorable. Kind of like Hanamaru Youchien, K-On, or Lucky Star.

Pretty much. I remember it being aired on Tech TV AGES ago and seeing an episode of it and being completely freaked out (I was young at the time), I kind of have a clue to what's happening, only on episode 6 though.

Still miss anime unleashed(where i first saw dual,soultaker and black heaven among several others i now own) and the international channel/AZN i mean they showed slayers fucking subbed and moonphase. Along with MANY other great shows. Was so sad when those two networks/blocks died.

Correction looking back Black heaven was AZN(which also showed El Hazard,Tenchi Muyo uncensored, Soul Hunters,Now and then Here and There among MANY OTHERS like fushigi yugi) But some of the Anime unleashed shows your thinking of might be. Betterman, Gad Guard or Last Exile.

All of this is from memory of course.

You should also give a try to anime like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann ( tits'n'robots yeah ) , Deadman Wonderland (omfg fighting with blood is awesome, also the storyline is epic) , Soul eater, also Death Note isn't on the list (or you've watched it before? ) O_O
