Anyways, Yuru Yuri, Strike Witches, and AKB hold special places in my heart even if they aren't the best of the best. Strike Witches was one of my first shows and my first fanservice one, Yuru Yuri was one of the first SoL I watched, and AKB was one of the first currently airing I watched with Upotte!.

Plus AKB0048 is still really good to me no matter what people say.

I think this was from before this was a chat thread. I had basically just typed a synopsis of Bleach, Naruto, Fairy Tail, One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist.

You should. It's pretty much Clannad condensed with a lot more magical elements in it.

It's up there with the really sad stuff. I'd put it directly under Clannad and AnoHana and above Angel Beats.

FMA was my very first anime though. (Not counting Ghibli/Pokemon)

Pokemon > DB/DBZ/DB GT (as a kid)
> Naruto > Naruto Shippuden > Bleach > One Piece > Fairy Tail > Death Note > Evangelion > ...

Somehow I managed to avoid that, for the most part. My first anime was Cowboy Bebop (excluding stuff like Dragonball as a kid), then I went to Death Note, then to Code Geass, and after that I was already into shows like Clannad and Lucky Star. My taste was pretty shit obviously (thought Death Note was the greatest thing ever) but I never got into the really big shounen.

Actually to this day I still have never watched a single episode of Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc. Not sure if I missed out or what.
