Earth Quake uses in Raids - Directed at Beta Players (no QQ)

Just another ele shaman taking a positive look at EQ. Currently looking at some heroic fights with adds, and was wondering if EQ knockdown works on them, and if only a certain few which ones, to help mitigate damage from tank, as I could see that being highly beneficial in H10/25.
i.e on adds on Heroic Nef. Feed Back much appreciated.

EQ main use in PvE is, obviously, on mob packs with 4 (or more) members.

Earthquakes Knockdown is too unreliable and short to be used as a meaningful damage mitigation, even if the mobs are not immune.
However, i am sure Blizzard will remove the Knockdown if Elemental Shamans begin to get stacked in Raids just to spam Earthquake most of the time as a tanking tactic.

TL;DR: Earthquake is just an AoE dps spell. Ignore the Knockdown, since it is too unreliable to plan on getting even a single proc.
