haha, you would have a heart attack in my house then :| there is cables and adapters plugged in to others everywhere, these houses are so old and crappy, most rooms only have 1 plug socket, sometimes, you plug something in and the lights go out, just flip the switch though at the fusebox and the come back on :P kinda strange how a few in here mentioned fire hazard, but weve had so many electricians around to fix various problems, and not one has ever mentioned a fire hazard :P not doing their job properly :P
In CPU-Z, the Memory Tab is what they're actually running at and the SPD Tab is the Serial Presence Detect aka the capable auto detect settings for the RAM. It doesn't mean it has less bandwidth lol. It just means G.Skill programmed different auto detect settings between the sets of RAM.
Yeah, I'm a bit paranoid of that kind of stuff. x_x Especially older houses.... as much as I love them, the designs, the architecture, the eerie atmosphere in the really old ones.... I don't trust their electricity systems unless they've had entirely new systems installed into the house.
Lol, most of them are CAT5e cables which would all need to short at the same time to cause anything dangerous in terms of sparks.

I would look into a UPS, maybe. Most old houses/buildings have really old wiring which causes weird voltage drooping and line noise. My apartment has that, and it's pretty well the reason my old 650W Silverstone PSU lasted 2 years at best. I think.haha, you would have a heart attack in my house then :| there is cables and adapters plugged in to others everywhere, these houses are so old and crappy, most rooms only have 1 plug socket, sometimes, you plug something in and the lights go out, just flip the switch though at the fusebox and the come back on :P kinda strange how a few in here mentioned fire hazard, but weve had so many electricians around to fix various problems, and not one has ever mentioned a fire hazard :P not doing their job properly :P
Not to mention it actually cuts down on power draw from the wall.
red panda red panda red panda!
we dont actually own this house its a council one so were not actually allowed to do anything to the electrics, my mothers room had them redone, but she got told off for having it done and were not allowed to rest of the house as it violates the tennancy agreement or some shit like that.
good thing is, these houses are being knocked down next year \o/ and we get to move to a newer house :P
anywho, ive invested in some cable ties, and ordered a 10slot surge protecter!
Better pics, I'm bored : /

Btw, the fan in your drive bays.... is that taped there or what? O_o
seeing those pics, i really need to get a new PSU, the cables on mine are pathetic barely reach from the PSU to the graphics card, so i got cables all over the place inside the case, they arent long enough to be tucked away behind the mobo like yours. must be hell for the air flow inside my case :P

and everything in your computer looks so shiny, did you clean it just for the screenshot? :P
I didn't expect the shielded Sabertooth to be so damn sexy.
Xuvial is t3h haxxorz!!!
In all seriousness, it does look kind of like he polished some parts.... lol

Okay, things have changed a little bit since the last pictures, and Xuvial has pressured me into finally posting the pictures I've been meaning to for the past 5 hours... >_>
Yay puppyyyy!!!
Maybe I'll get some actually decent inside pictures sometime.

Love how Xuvial posts those pics then immediately goes offline. -.-
Jerk!
So I want to do what Xuvial did with a 120-140mm fan and stick it in my 5.25" drive bays.... but I just don't know if I have the room, as I'm using the top 3 of my 4 and then the 2 hot swappable HDD bays of course down below are being used.... so I'd probably have to either move or REmove my CD/DVD drive to even consider it.
I'm not sure if that kind of technophilia is appropriate here, Static.
