Can a mod change Drunken's rank text to read 'never finishes a computer build... ever' ?
red panda red panda red panda!
In the 600T build I had? I needed another 90 degree fitting to really cut away any meaningful slack. At least that's how I recall it. It's been stripped down already.
But the 650D build just there? The first loop with the Koolance pump/res setup was much tighter, but I also learned that Monsoon fittings are PITA to work with. I left a pretty noticeable amount of slack for the dual-bay res/D5 combo, because I discovered the coolant was doing weird stuff to the tubes' inside. (Made them very foggy-like.)
The loop was stripped down yesterday though. Just took pictures before doing it. For the time being, the 650D hosts P8Z77-V Deluxe, H60 cooler and GTX 680 instead of the previous specs.
I always assumed you built em and sold em. Used the cash for your next build. Thats something I thought about doing, just because I have so much fun building them lol.
One of them are the California headphones, which I recieved last week because I supported the company on Kickstarter.
Second headphones are the PC 350, which I've owned a little over 2 years.
The last one I found at my parents house in Denmark (Nobody is ever there so I guessed it wasn't being used)
You remind me of myself when I was 3-5 years old with lego.

Nah I wouldn't call X58 platform old just yet. The first-gen i5/i7's are still solid gaming chips when OC'd to 3.8-4ghz. Plus they can be remembered as the last chips that required some actual thought/work to overclock :P
But gosh that's a ton of screens! Do you work from home or something?

I do but not that often, I bought most of them while I was in college actually and I justified it as I was skipping a ton of lectures (hey I could watch all the lecture recordings at once ). Currently I don't do much with my desktop other than play some games. I do most of my work on my laptop. I figured if my house is going to burn down I can just grab my laptop have 99% of my lifetime achievements with me.
That's a good thing to do, everyone should have similar plans in place. Especially if they live in apartments/flats.
I have all my critical stuff backed up on a 2TB HDD (WD Green ftw) which just sits there in the open, connected with eSata. If the shit hits the fan then I can simply grab it and run

Off-site backup synced over FTP. Not failsafe, but I may not always be home when disaster strikes.
Either way, if one has ones laptop with oneself, that would suffice. I approve of the laptop plan either way.
