How many banns before a permanant one ?

Hey dudes i was wondering if anyone of you guys know how many times your acc could acutally get banned ? Ive been hacked about 3-4 times and gotten like 3 hour banns for it, the hacker sold all my gear etc.. anyhow ive gotten i believe one or two banns cause my own fault, one for once ninjaing, ye u can call me a loser for that nps :P, and once for doing ingame " casino" almost two years ago. Anyway back to the thread.. How many times can i get banned ? and should i buy a new account and transfer my chars there ? cause i dont feel like having a permanant bann in cataclysm for something just stupid.. ive really tried to not do something illegal and i havnt for the past year but im just wondering it might happen :/ What do you think ?

Getting hacked generally never results in a perma ban (cannot say for 100% sure but you are safe IMO).

As for you offenses it can be one to four or five depending on the seriousness of the offense. As long as you don't do anything against the ToS you should be fine.

IF you are that worried, now is not a bad time (assuming you have not bought the expansion) since WoW + TBC and Wrath are 20 bucks total atm.

Step two: Scan your pc and maybe get an authenticator.
Step three: ???
Step four: Profit.

To answer your question, I think they save the ban for like maybe half a year and if you get another ban in less then half a year then you get a perma one. No I don't have a source on this, I've been told that this is correct by some friends.
This might only be if you have done something serious.
