Beast: 5/10 I know it's par for the course in movies like this, but goddamn some of these characters make some dumbass decisions. Mae was the worst offender. Bonus point for rendering the lion's testicles. Maybe I've been reading too many cheating stories on reddit, because I would've put money on Copley's character revealing a years long affair with Elba's dead wife. Thank God it was just cancer! Oh, Idris should've died. No way he survives that shit.

Jurassic World: Dominion: 2/10 Kinda liked Jurassic World. Kinda annoyed by Fallen Kindgom. Kinda hated Dominion. I normally loves me some dino action, so I was surprised by how boring it all was.

Top Gun: Maverick: 9/10 Good stuff. Watching it reminded me of Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, in that it's the same shit all over again... but it just works. Story did what it needed to do to get us to some sweet, sweet jet porn. Bonus point for keeping shit as practical as possible. Hoped Maverick would make a heroic sacrifice like his dad did in 'Nam. You almost had me, movie!

A Rainy Day in New York: 5/10 - There were some chuckles, but the casting and scripting for this entire thing felt a bit off, and would have been better served if WA stopped trying to make Chamalet blatantly act like a younger version of himself for starters. And now that I think about the cringe inducing last few minutes, I think a 5 might be generous.

Hellraiser (2022): 4/10 Only watched a few of the movies, so I'm not 100% up on my Hellraiser lore. Was hoping for more body horror and torture porn. Cenobite designs were a bit too clean and bland. Characters were bleh.

    It's horrendous.
It's not hilariously bad, it's plain bad.
There's no chemistry between main characters, the plot is as dumb as it gets, the songs are retardedly stupid, the "princess" hairdo "hairsnot on forhead" makes you shudder and gasp for air, and the final scene of rap battle between basketball player-turned-sneaker-industry-king and our main hero is as stupefying as it is bad.

    Bullet Train 8/10.

I thought it was a very good action movie and Mystery.

Tho, I’m starting to feel old when i looked up Brad pitt and saw that he’s 58 now.

Decent found footage movie. Many jokes, quite a few of which landed. Weak ending, tiny budget with questionable special effects, couple of gaping plotholes, but overall not bad which is all you can really ask for from a movie like this.

Lame in every way. Not scary and boring. Nothing interesting happens at all. A total waste of time.

I just wanted to watch Stallone punch people. There are better Stallone punching people movies. There are worse Stallone punching people movies.

Agreed, but i'd give it a 3/10. Honorary wtf moment when Michael transferred his serial killer tendencies by soul staring into Coreys eyes.

But at least they made fucking sure that Michael cannot come back

Ugh. that scene. So lame. It felt like the worst parts of the Rob Zombie remake a few years ago.

The last thing I watched was show about Jeffrey Dahmer. It was really hard to watch

Black Water (2007): 7/10 After sitting through Beast the other week, it was nice seeing a Man vs Animal movie where the characters weren't so aggressively stupid. Yeah, some dumb stuff happens, but I wasn't overly annoyed. The cast is small, but they do a good job. A reasonably tense 90 minutes.

Halloween Ends: 1/10 The 2018 movie was mostly decent. Every character in Kills was stupid, and not enough of them died. This one was some ol' bullshit.

    Halloween Ends - 5/10
Parts of it were decent, others felt like it was trying to build some bridge to a spinoff. There was such potential promise in the movie but I think when they decided to do Kills and Ends they wrote themselves into a corner and couldn't get out of it. I loathed the way some of the people in the movie behaved - made me want to see their heads up on a pike ala MM to scare everyone else off. We should have seen the crescendo of the trilogy - a true sendoff. What we got was a middle school choir who had no rehearsals.

    The Northman (2022)- 7/10

Awesome cinematography, music, and general vibe as a film that's striving to depict a Viking epic. Unfortunately, the middle act (i.e farmer segment) was significantly less engaging than the beginning and end. Nonetheless, glad I watched it.
