I live in Canada, if I take a day off it uses one of my 28 Sick Days that I get per year. See how stupid this topic is for myself and other Canadians. Assuming the other Canadian World of Warcraft players are intelligent they've banked all of there Sicks Days for the full month of December as we'll just get another 28 on New Years.

I'm lucky that I have the ability to timetable and set the vast majority of my own work. I'm not quite my own boss, but pretty close to it, so I've been able to happily set aside the majority of the week for Cataclysm.

There is no legal entitlement to sick days in Canada.
I'm happy you have them, but not everyone does, and there is no legal requirement for a place of work to give them to you.

-I have to play this game, to tell the other ppl that are playing this game, that the game should not be played. There are only 12million players...won't take longer then two weeks.

- I have to play Cataclysm...my vet even said it when I brought my sick cat to him. He said and I quote: "You have to get your CAT-a-Clyster" ...So doctors order! Yeh I know he said it wrong, but he's a doctor..probably one of those "I have a irl"-noobs

Got an exam on wednesday, but rest of the week is kinda, meh. Got like no lessons so I'll be fine.

My boss told me eariler that I had 2 weeks of vacation left, and asked me when I wanted it.. I asked if I could set them aside for next year, she said no! I asked if I could get them as overtime and earn some extra monies, she said no! Then I asked, how about December? She said yes, so as of tomorrow I don't have any more work in 2010

I've been working hard to feign sickness.
Infact, I started just Three weeks ago, with discrete coughs.
Then, the runny-nose trick, pretending I need to blow my nose every now and then.
Then, about a week ago came phase 2: suttle mentions of feeling hot, mild unusual headaches

Now I just need to activate phase 3: The Sickness.
