Death Knight PvP Unholy 2H or frost DW/2H?

So, i've been PvPing as frost most of the time, tried unholy and i liked it but it didn't have the same burst damage at all as with frost DW. Killing machine+ Obliterate does insane critts while unholy is more about dots and passive dmg. Nothing wrong with that, but i think frost is more fun.

but anyway, What do you as a Death Knight PvP with right now? I realy appreciate opinions and tips about it

Im using frost DW however I can swear once i'll get my vicious 2hand next week I will use it! but I'd say 2h frost over unholy

I must agree, DW over 2H. I was a 2H lover before Cataclysm, now I love the DW. 35k + crits with MH and Off Hand Obliterate is pretty fun.

the question was unholy or frost, i persume u like frost more?
if u are a DW frost, do u use howling blast at all?

HB is pretty common. Im also a DW frost on my DK. love the huge hits from Obliterate, and HB in BG's just racks up the damage done. The only issue ive seen/heard with it is that getting enough hit rating to cap yourself with DW frost is very tough. Can anyone help on that?

Yeah DW Frost, But currently im on my hunt for the Zin'Rokh, Destroyer of Worlds and will be going Frost 2H for PvP. All Unholy and Frost DKs I see now are 2H and I know why.... The Hitrating is impossible to cap using Dual Wield. I Literally tried to max it out with gems, enchants, and reforging. Best I could get to was 10% miss rate on normal attack. 2H all the way

for pvp purposes, i would advise going 2hander frost dk, reforge for haste and gem str/haste, if you would like to see the destructive power of 2hander frost link in my sig

Frost pvp is horrible IMO, Damage doesn't mean shit if you can't touch it. Even with chillblains or whatever its called, you will still be kited. If you're fighting another melee who can't get away from you, then you can Obliterate them right in the mouth with ease. I play unholy for pvp and special pve fights (slowing down mobs is sweeter than Apple Pie). The sheer speed of unholy should make the choice obvious. Firing off Death Coils like a machine gun and spamming 6 scourge strikes in a row, while your Dots are ravaging your targets hit points is just too sweet. If i see an alliance frost dk in a bg, I target him first, just like if i saw a fury warrior in a bg.

and use a two hander, if you can't get Threat of Thassarian maxed, i think DW would be pointless
