When exactly to use starfall

So guides say its good to use it right after a eclipse proc. But I know I want it on cd as much as possible. Should I wait to use it on a single target fight for a eclipse proc and then just try to have it up for the next or should I just disregard the first one and fire it with all my other cds when the fight starts?

Use your first Starfall with a Lunar Eclipse then use it from CD from then on. Or, if it comes off CD and you're close to Lunar Eclipse just wait it out.

Personally, I use it on Single Target and AoE fights... Basically just whenever. I glyph Focus so that it has a harder punch and smaller Radius. It works really well for me. I also Glyph Starfall for the shorter CD as well that way I can use it as much as possible.
