Where will we fight Deathwing?

Ok - so it's 3 major patches away (probably) but, unlike WotLK where we knew exactly where we'd be fighting the Lich King in the end, Cata doesn't have an obvious 'final raid' area yet.

So, any ideas where it might be? Will it be in an existing zone? Maybe his lair is somewhere in Twilight Highlands? I can't really see it being in Hyjal, Uldum or Vashj'ir. He could go back to Deepholm but he'd probably destroy the World Pillar again....Remember he's a big dragon so he'll need somewhere big for his lair.

Or will they add a new landmass/island into the game like IQD for tbc for the raid? The rumour is that Kul Tiras will be featured in this expansion later on - maybe that will be this expansions version of IQD with Deathwing stomping around destroying the island and the inhabitants desperate for help from the Alliance and the Horde (hmm - lore issue there - maybe the Horde just invade to get to Deathwing and cut through the inhabitant there).

Or will they come up with some kinda phasing outdoor raid for Deathwing? Maybe have him destroying Stormwind or Orgrimmar (depending on your faction) and you having to save the city. That could be cool - although technically probably very challenging.

What do you think it'll be?

I would assume somewhere out in like grim batol/bastion of twilight/twilight citadel. Somewhere in that general region. But it's just a guess.

He is the Earthwarder and Deepholme is his home, but I don't see why he'd go back when he's trying to take over Azeroth, unless it's a situation where we slowly push him back into Deepholme via quests/future raids against his minions and finally have a final confrontation at his Alamo.

More than likely I'd say a raid zone in Grim Batol or around there, since that's where most of his plans with the Twilight Dragons and Alexstrazsa's eggs are centralized.

You mean Sulfuron's Spire? I assume that's where we'll fight Ragnaros, since it's where he was introduced in Cataclysm.

I didn't know it was possible to die on that part? how did you manage to lose, even with the shields AND the 99% dmg reduction, 100000% dmg increase, AND with the 100% healing per second?
thrall /brofist ed me after and made me the next earthwarder and I got awesome epics (there must always be a deathchin).
but then I woke up inside some stupid old god servant

also, hopefully we'll fight him for real at the centre of the maelstrom, where afterwards he fuses with the old god sleeping there, and we have a "now you face my true form" version
with tentacles, and flying sharks with lasers

I agree. Seems like the terrifying, gated castle surrounded by lava and twilight cultists would be a safe bet.

Out in the open - since he's both gigantic and flying around in this expansion (as opposed to sitting on a throne).

If youre a tank from the front, if youre melee from the side if youre caster from anywhere but the damn fire!

What about the Zone he jumps out of? You dont fight deathwing but the forge he was equipped with elementium plate armor because hes so beefed up.
He didnt seem all to happy about that swinging hammer hitting him in the side when they attached the armor so he wont be happy if same hammer knocks it right back off!

I mean thrall first thought him there, so why not? BTW anybody know if they are planning to do something with the grim batol part where you have to go right to Erudax and theres some mobs behind the gate infront?
