    ...GM's/Blizz.. what a let down...

So last night I got hit by a AH sniper bot in Booty Bay, opened a ticket to a GM hoping they could A)return my 57 Volatile Waters and B) deal with some chump using a bot, which as we all know is against the "rules".
To my sup-rise, when i logged on this am, a message from a GM ( whom shall remain nameless) saying basically "we have a team that look into bots and game exploits and I will be forwarding your information to them, and oh yeah we don't replace your item's".
Somehow that doesn't seem right with me, clearly in time the hack team will see that in fact some moron was using a bot, that is assuming if they to actually look into it, I mean there not going to send me email saying yeah we found out you were scammed and we banned his account, so basically NO follow-up feed back to a loyal 3 year customer, and not replacing the items seems kinda like a big F.U. loyal customer, ya you got scammed, but you will have to take our word we are looking into it, and and your "stuff" is gone cause we don't give a damn that you got scammed, and really don't have the will to spend 10 min's investigating and sending your waters back to you, so to bad so sad.
I mean if they really were customer orientated, they may have said "well yeah we'll look into this and if it's found that this in fact happened we will A) let you know how we dealt with account and B) refund your good.
Without any loyalty to a long term customers, no openness, clarity accountability and lack of feedback, one is lead to the conclusion that all this talk about caring for the customer is a a load of bureaucratic double speak just to placate the player and move on to the next issue...
So, to be paying a monthly fee to be let down, frustrated and in essence have a problem just sweep away, is extremely disappointing.
Come on Blizz & GM's, your better than that, aren't you??

You do realise that there are people like me spending ~1hr /day or /week sniping prices at the AH just by using the search right?
Made many thousands of gold using people like you and I enjoy it... oh how much I do.

Although botting is against the rules, you are placing items in an Auction House. It is a function that exists for the sole purpose of allowing people to buy the items listed. I can completely understand them not refunding your items.

I hope they deal with the bot, but the Auction House wasn't designed for a specific person to specific person transfer.

Even if it was a bot, blizz will do nothing to stop him.
I have tried over and over again reporting wallhacking, speedhacking bots. And i get the same answer "We will look into it"
And *pooooooof* nothing happends, they are not banned, they are not removed etc. No point in reporting, just take it as a bad day.

Pretty much this, i've reported this guy for 6 months and nothing happened. he's still on my server farming and botting with speed hacks.

Ive spoken to GMs several time regarding this question, you are allowed to send items between factions through the neutral AH, however YOU take the risks, and will never be refunded.

If it was meant for you to be able to smoothly send items to your opposite faction they would allow you so through the ingame-mailbox.

    Live with it.
I registered on MMO-Champion, and all I got was this lousy signature...

Well, it was your own fault mate. He might be a bot but it is the AH!
But Blizzard always been like that...and well, it is hard to monitor and control the amount of bots there are across all realms

Oh and btw, paragraph more? (probably misspelled :P)

You got raped by a guy hitting "search" every second until something good for a few copper showed up. I once sniped a battered hilt for 2 copper back when there wasn't a racial requirement on them. Sold it for 10k.

I put 25 saronites on my alli for says 500g and i have a friend buy it on horde side for me. but the bots look at lowest price stuff and buy it. it's annoying so you have to put it high

So you put some items in the AH and are mad someone bought them? If you don't want anyone to buy your items, don't put them in the AH next time.

    This.

Also, it really hurts trying to read your post. You might want to consider some proper punctuation and formatting.

You don't know that. I guarantee you do not follow up on everyone you report for weeks and weeks after the report. It can take up to a month for them to action an account and if the proof is blatant, like those types of bots are, they will do something. The problems lies with if they are a new offender or not. Many botters use new accounts to bot on so if they get caught they only get banned for a few days or weeks since that account has no other offenses on it. It's really naive to think Blizzard does nothing.

Thousands of people get banned for botting every day. They are vastly outnumbered by the botters so every single one of them getting hit is also naive, but they do try. Lots of bots are getting more and more sophisticated and don't mess with wow's memory as much anymore which is the only way Warden can catch bots (besides enough people seeing it and reporting the time frame so they can check logs).

why do you think you deserve to know what action was taken? to get some smug "yeah feel better now" feeling? they have said because its between them and another person then its a privacy thing.
