Also, merge all battlegroups and make it region wide like you did with BGs, while you are at it, Blizzard. Will be much easier to do 5vs5, then.

I think skirmish arena was one of the most useless features for PvP ever..
if you do it with crapgear you get some insane resilience team on you which isnt even fun.
other way around there's nothing to learn beating up on gearless people.
use the rated arena to skillup instead, at one point you will be on the rating of your desired skilllevel, which is imo the best way to practise
