T1 for druids had the antlers on the helm and shoulers, the helm just looked like a headband with 2 buck antlers attached to the front

Remember this the next time someone bitches about how ugly their tier is. I can't think of a single one of the pre-patch sets that I'd be caught dead wearing before jumping into the BlackRock lava pit to die.

that was the updated version of t1, i was hoping for the old and first version of all of them
google isnt very helpful either, all i know is the sets were changed between patch 1.3 and 1.5.

Wow... they were gonna pass those off as tier sets, by god I'm glad they were updated, honestly some of my favourite sets are tier 2 - stormrage, ten storms, dragonstalker, judgement !!

I remember this was not long before I started raiding MC, I heard they had put custom models in for the raiders so I logged into Ironforge knowing the raiders all loved to just stand outside the bank and auction house since we only had like 1 or 2 raid groups on the whole server, it was a cool morning to see them all showing it off and it felt like we were all part of this little community, it makes the whole prestige of raiding a lot different looking back.

I also remember when the epic mounts got armor, I was about a week away from being able to afford one and wanted the new ones so much more than the originals. Now I kick myself for not leveling a little bit faster and saving a little more gold. I would kill for the black and white night saber panthers.

The only T2 set that looked any decent was the Bloodfang Rogue set because at the time there was literally nothing that looked like it color wise.

T2 is comparable and superior to most of the tier sets in the past two expansions for a lot of classes imo.

T2 was pretty universally beloved. I loved the jokes about the axe on my head with wrath. And gnome warriors looked great in it. And I love the way the dark blue gradient gets almost black in the dark recesses against that stark Alliance gold.

I think they all look good in a way; more realistic. Wow's armour sets tend to be ridiculously over-the-top.

Yup, they were place holders. I got T2 gloves off of Garr (or maybe Geddon... I don't recall it was over 7 years ago).
