Random epics drop rate

Hi everybody on MMO.

Our guild starts raiding just 2 weeks ago and we only managed to kill 2 bosses right now. We only raid the throne and by know we have found 6 random epics.
This seems to be a very high droprate.

Please comment.

Throne of the four winds, can that even drop epics as there is no trash there!

My guess is that OP is referring to the actual loot drops on the council, which are *random* items.

I've found two necklaces in Tol Barad in the period of 3 weeks.

Should mention they went for about 14K each

2 bosses != 6 items. So by "droprate" it means some random drop from trash. Conclave does have trash?

EDIT: or its 2 bosses, but 3 kills (repeated kill).

Sorry for my miss wording. We only raid the bastion of twilight and we found 6 epis in trash mobs. Even in respawn trash we find epics.

Congrats. You got lucky. It's random though. I don't know what the exact drop rate is.

Well there's a reason people trash farm that instance.
Sometimes you get nothing and sometimes you get 4 epics in a single trash clear (each clear takes 10 minutes..)

My guild has had a lot of BOE epics drop. We have killed quite a few bosses but still drop-rate seems very high. I think in total maybe around 8 epics. Were 2/4 1/2 4/6.

drops there are all epics with random enchantement, hope i answered the question.

Wowheaqd shows %s. But there probably are not enough samples yet. I would guess its proably 1% per item or something. As always rng is random, so its hard to say. My. Guild got like 4 epics in one week and none the oother weeks.

Bastion seems to drop at least 3 random drops every week, mostly the healer staffs. Now with the amount of trash in blackwing, it's pretty hard to get the only wand dropping there for caster dps.

Random Epics from Raid Thrash are about 5% drop chance I believe (Note though, that does not mean that 25 Thrash Kills is 100% item drop).

Same for us, we get about 2-5 BoE epics per instance each week.

I have played everyday since release of Cataclysm, and I haven't seen any epic BoE... Done 7/12 bosses and about 2 hours trashfarm... no epics here, nope
