to me this is all just pop music, i just cringe when i hear it. I find it so cheesy. Im not trying to troll you or anything I just dislike this style of rap, and always have. Jay z too.

In the end its just my opinion too, people like different music its the nature of things. Sure these tracks are old, but like wine some things improve with age.

I guess you're just into more traditional/underground Hip Hop, whereas I like more mainstream Hip Hop by artists that produce regularly.

3/10. Not a huge fan of synthesized strings in rap. That's so.. Snoop Dogg circa mid to late 90's..

I'm gonna be silly and throw a wrench into the wheel of a game.. This song holds the Guinness World Record for the world's highest selling (or is it fastest selling? I forget..) reggae song.. By a white Canadian by the name of Snow. He has a nerdy Vanilla Ice quality and for me, as much as I WANT to hate this song , it is just too.. damned.. catchy

You've also kinda got to give the guy props for being able to mimic Jamaican Patois pretty damned well considering he lives thousands of miles from the country which the language derives. And the song all furthers the point that while it helps, the upbeats that are characteristic of ska, reggae and other West-Indian musics are not vital -- they are more reliant and bass grooves and drum beats which was an idea kinda pioneered by Sly & Robbie..

Enjoy, and I totally don't blame you if you hate it :P

@N.A.S.A. "Spacious Thoughts": I really like the style. 7/10 for the song and another 5/12 on top of that because the video is made of Crystallized Win, so 12/10 :3
