Archeology Heirlooms are stackable

hey all, several days ago i finally finished to get a second nifflevar axe which is now a Lv71 item thanks to 4.0.6.

when i sent them to my enchanter and took them out of the mailbox, i suddenly wondered where the second one disappeared.
then i saw a little 2 on the item-icon and didn't know if this is funny or sad.
after separating them, one of them lost all durability.
to prevent this you have to take one out of the mailbox, equip it, then take the other one out of the box and equip it in the other hand - to prevent automatical stacking.

i dont know if this happens to all archeology heirlooms but it could be possible.
so to put it short:
could someone from america please report this in us forums to get a blue response, so they can fix this bug?

EDIT: just to clear things up in case someone finds this while searching around:
a GM told me that this is supposed to be fixed in 4.1
