If Roman Brutus, sure why not. Killing a guy kind of nuts with power is rarely a bad idea.

Who is this Brutus? I can only think of the roman Brutus.

Well he was neither because to be right you have to do it for the right reasons which he clearly didn't have he wanted to take out Caesar and take control.
It's from Divine Comedy, the Inferno. Lucifer sits at the bottom circle of Hell, he has three faces. Each face is torturing "humanity's greatest traitors". For a Catholic Italian at that time it was Judas, Brutus, and Cassius if I remember correctly.
edit: bah someone beat me to it haha
Bleh prob not a good idea, dont need infrac.

The common people loved Caesar so no he wasn't right
"The sky's will rain fire." "The oceans will boil." "The streets will run red with the blood of billions only then when your last pitiful hope is extinguished will I end your life lets go."
Well he thought he got away with it, till Octivian came to power and issued that decree or w/e that called all of the guys who killed Ceaser murderers ( up till that point they were pardoned) and enemies of the state. All the battles over it eventually lead him to commit sucicide rather then be captured. So I would say, No he was not that was one litany of bad mistake after mistake on his part, with a cowards way out.
Edit: Tho a good reminder on how fleeting and trivial power for the sake of power can be.

He started two civil wars and didnt achieve anything, since the republic wasnt saved anyhow (if wanted to save it and didnt just try to get imperator himself)
But I guess no one was "right" by todays standards - they were all a bunch of mass murderers and tyrannts^^
