    'Cross-site scripting' ads?

On almost all MMO pages now I get the following warning:
Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting.
It seems to be the advert that's being blocked. I don't know if this means something's wrong but IE9 is acting the same as an ad-blocker for MMO, something you might want to consider.

Can you find out which page is being blocked?

Didn't happen yesterday but it's back again today. Copying the URL of the ad at the top that IE is blocking gives the following:

    Code:
    http://ib.adnxs.com/if?enc=mpmZmZmZqT-amZmZmZmpPwAAAMDMzPw_NLQB2IAIzT81tAHYgAjNP848BUQcBb81PGcmdQkNXXOMMqpNAAAAAEIhAAC1AAAAQQMAAAIAAAAw-wQA0WMAAAEAAABVU0QAVVNEANgCWgBQCU0AbwoBAgUCAAQAAAAAeSEuXwAAAAA.&pubclick=http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/aclk?sa%3Dl%26ai%3DB2mNOjDKqTZSqKoeH-QaY9MygB6nmgY8Cuei7sCC5nd-pQwAQARgBIAA4AVCAx-HEBGC5-MeA3AGCARdjYS1wdWItMzAxNzA0ODgyMjgzMjk2M7IBDXB3bi5jdXJzZS5jb226AQk3Mjh4OTBfYXPIAQnaATNodHRwOi8vcHduLmN1cnNlLmNvbS9nb29nbGU4ZGVmYXVsdHNJTlRMNzI4eDkwLmh0bWyYAjLAAgTIAvGLrxuoAwHoAx7oA7YC9QMAAABMgAbAsYr584rqqvAB%26num%3D1%26sig%3DAGiWqtxsgx3co0R62akpdehinH2FKJjfZg%26client%3Dca-pub-3017048822832963%26adurl%3D&tt_code=vert-30&udj=uf%28%27a%27%2C+15933%2C+1302999692%29%3Buf%28%27r%27%2C+326448%2C+1302999692%29%3Bppv%2812110%2C+%273872819823520333006%27%2C+1302999692%2C+1304209292%2C+66956%2C+25553%29%3B&cnd=!wxDnvwiMiwQQsPYTGAAg0ccBKE0xWEINif0dxD9CCggAEAAYASABKAFCCwjOXhAAGAAgAygBQgsIzl4QABgAIAIoAUgBUABY0BJgAGjBBg..&referrer=http://pwn.curse.com/google8defaultsINTL728x90.html

    Thanks; I've passed that on.

Can someone chime in on the details of what this really is? It's easy to think that it's malicious content and exactly the reason why ppl run NoScript or the like to prevent stuff like this.

Meh, cross-site scripting is basically ... a lot of stuff, really. It's most likely related to the tracking code of some of the advertisers and stuff like that. It's not harmful (as long as we don't run a terrible ad, and I'm mostly saying that in case something happens one day) but if you want to scare yourself to death you can try the wikipedia article.

I suspect IE is just being paranoid about any kind of JS ran from another site, or something like that. It's not necessarily a bad thing, or a good thing, it just gets you weird messages.

Well IE9 blocks it by default so you're not getting any ad revenue from it.

i'm also currently getting messages of this from NoScript (don't worry, i'm enabling ads). firefox 3.6.16, noscript 2.1.0.2, adblock plus 1.3.6 with mmo-champion whitelisted (at least, as long as there aren't any REALLY obnoxious adds, like those i got on WoWhead that just blanked the entire page and showed a Rift banner). it says it comes from googleads.g.doubleclick.net and that it stored info in the console. when i summon the console, i'm just getting a REALLY fast scrolling list of warnings that continously disappear.
