I despise the term Wayfinder. I am the commander.
While I get why we're moving on narratively (pact is done, we don't really have anyone we're left "commanding" etc.), yeah, I prefer Commander to Wayfinder. Maybe it's just all the years hearing NPC's referring to my character exclusively with that title, but it just sounds right.
Also lordy fuckin be I hope Anet lets us disable the walkie talkie sooner rather than later. I will pay hard currency, legal tender, if the ability to put that shit in silent. I'm so fucking tired of hearing NPC's gabbing in my ear constantly. I JUST FLEW BY THE STUPID REINDEER BECAUSE I AM GOING PLACES, NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO HEAR THE BEAR LADY TALKING ABOUT THROWING HER VOICE INTO MY EAR FOR THE 500TH FUCKING TIME.
Anyways, waiting for them to reveal the first update shipping this year. I'm donezo with the game for now, still have some achievements to work on but I'm run out of steam and have overcapped Wizards Vault at 1700 AA so I'm ready for the next refresh.
Finally got to 600 mastery. Big, big fan of Lowland Shore, love the area, the kodan, and the music. Janthir Syntri, not so much, but still cool, way cooler than whatever Secrets of the Obscure was.
Janthir Syntri just looks like a beta version of itself. It just feels unfinished.
Lately i've been playing SOTO (back then i barely did the story on every patch because i was more focused on WoW) and i'm enjoying it a lot more than i expected. Some of the criticism i had still stands, but my general impression of the zones once i started to truly play them is more positive than it was, specially inner nayos.
"Mastery Haste will fix it."
